“Nice for quick sleep but not for longer stay”
+It had a very nice view and beautiful outdoor overall
−The room lacked cleanliness. I don’t complain usually about that but we were staying with kids and they constantly walked barefoot in the room which was really hard on me to keep on asking them to put their socks on or shoes….the floors were just very sandy. We stayed 2 nights and didn’t even get the floors cleaned in between. I didn’t wash my kids because there was no fan in the room and I didn’t want to take the chance to get them sick. I guess I need to prepare myself with a lot more stuff to bring with me including a broom 🙃

“Nice place if you can get there”
+Cute space and adequate. By a river and across from a store/cafe with good food. Friendly locals and very nice owners/managers.
−Had to drive on insane highway to get there - horrible for acrophobia (not related to lodge).

“Uncomfortable”
+The location is nice. Ice machine available. It is in walking distance to enjoy the river and walk. The scenery is beautiful.
−The wall A/C wasn’t working properly and blew hot air during the day. It was very uncomfortable for 2 days in the room during the hot peak hours when I was back in the room because the wall unit was blowing hot air. The shower had mold. The drain in the shower and sink had gunk in there that wasn’t cleaned properly by staff. The base of the bed had stains covered by the bed skirt. Basic cleaning was done where bed was made, trash was taken out, and towels were changed. It doesn’t seem deep cleaning is done. The room could use an upgrade.

“Definitely gonna return.”
+The location was wonderful, right by the river, and at night you could hear the sound of the river- so peaceful and relaxing. One evening, while sitting on the terrace, I even saw a dear wandering around. I loved that there is a general store right across the street with everything you need- from souvenirs, water, fruits, eggs, medicine, etc. to prepped meals- breakfast, lunch and dinner- so convenient.
−Maybe that the shower cabin was very narrow. But other than that, the room was very clean and comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we needed and the host was really nice.

+Manager was extra special. My grandson went and asked him if he wanted to swim in the river with him (I was getting tired). He and his son came down and did so.

+I liked the location which was across from the camp store and having the river in your backyard was nice. The staff was nice.
−I did not like that upon entering my room the middle part of the doorknob came out. I told the staff and he said it shouldn't do that but they need new locks. So then later I open the door again and the whole doorknob comes apart. He did have to replace whole doorknob. I also noticed a musty smell when ac was on and realized that later on my nose got stuffy and end up turning off. So then I got a really bad headache next day with stuffy nose and drainage. I believe that there was mold in the ac unit because I was fine the next day.
