“A pampered stay.”
+We love how beautiful the rooms are, the private onsens, sauna, and the natural setting where you could hear the birds in the morning. The staff were thoughtful and considerate. They offered to drive my elderly parents from our room to the dining room for dinner when it was dark and harder to see the path clearly.

“Peace and tranquility accompanied by delicious food”
+Our entire stay at Sennomori could be summed up with the word peace. We have not been as relaxed as we were at the lovely ryokan in years. The family who runs it truly knows the meaning of hospitality and care. From the moment we stepped onto their property, we felt that they truly cared about their guests and wished them to have the best time. We cannot thank the family enough for our lovely stay and the kindness they showed us even with the language barrier. Our guest house was wonderful and spacious with thoughtful amenities and a beautiful terrace. This patio space put you right in the middle of the forest and you feel like you are surrounded by nature. Our breakfast and dinner meals were the best food we have eaten in all of Japan in our two week visit.

“Secluded forest ryokan with superb food and warm hosts; only downside is the stay feels too short.”
+Sen no Mori is truly one of the best ryokan experiences we’ve ever had. You genuinely feel isolated and secluded, surrounded by nature in the middle of a forest,perfect for peace, relaxation, and a complete escape from the busy world. The food is absolutely superb, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making every meal a highlight of the stay. The host and staff are exceptionally courteous and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and well cared for. This is more than just a place to stay,it’s a memorable experience that is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, outstanding hospitality, and authentic ryokan charm.
