“Very well located but somewhat outdated rooms in Amed”
+Great location to discover Amed. Very friendly staff. Nice to have a patio next to the pool and enjoy a drink (there is no bar but there is a fridge in which you can put your own drinks, and there's a shop in the same street. Really worth recommending is the spa just next door.
−The bathroom is outdated, and not really comfortable. Time for an upgrade which doesn't even require a big budget. The beds are not good : you literally hear and feel each and every movement. We're not so demanding but the least we expect is a good night rest, which we didn't have because of the bed. Also the lighting could be better. Too white to be cosy...

“Wonderful place to stay in Amed”
+I loved the location. Five minutes from our family friends house. Easy walk to restaurants. Very clean with some nice personal touches.
−I am very old and the pool steps were a bit too big for me with no handrail. I managed but perhaps a pool rail would be a good addition.

“Dirty place and Ruined our stay, had to move”
+It looked good in photos but in reality it was not a good place to stay nor the location
−Our room smelled bad, we saw lizard and bugs in bathroom and around the place outside. We were left alone and the person who could help us lived away from the place. We ended up moving to another place nearby. Would not recommend

+Would be perfect for two couples of friends. Several nice cafes in the area. Pool was very clean and lovely. Was nice to feel like we had our own private resort.
−There was a bit of a mixup with the keys but it was finally sorted out and we were not inconvenienced. Plus it all seemed very safe.

“Lovely private place to stay near Amed.”
+We had a great stay here, it looks better than the pictures. The AC worked well, the kitchen was well supplied, and the pool/patio and outdoor area were lovely. It is a little bit out of the way, about a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive into town, but there are restaurants nearby and a spa right outside. It’s quieter and more private than most other properties nearer to the town.
−The internet went out for almost two days, but that wasn’t the owner’s fault but the provider, it went down for everyone in town.

+Staff were great, lovely villa, pool, kitchen, beach with a few warungs just a short walk away.
−A little bit far from the main town, not too bad, about 10/15 mins walk if yoi're fit, no problem with a moped. Some coffee and tea for arrival would be nice 🙂

“Amed is really nice but this villa needs fixing up to be adequately comfortable”
+Villa staff is friendly and helpful. He arranged scooters for us to get to the town which is a bit of a distance.
−Very hot yard, all stoney and you cannot walk around without footwear. Kitchen poorly stocked. No tea/coffee making facilities. Booking for 4 people but not enough outdoor seating. There are a number of security cameras but the ones pointing into the pool are intrusive and hardly necessary.
