7.0“The Jury is stil out on the accomodation.”
+The evening food was excellent, breakfast full Welsh breakfast was a re-heat of sausages et but the breakfast containing poached eggs was very good.
−Ceiling in bedrooms with low beams mean constantly hitting ones head of the ceiling unless yiu are less than ariund 5 ft in height. Also unreplaced main light's bulb which was not lighting.in the Bedroom while toilet paper was very scarce.

+A lovely small hotel, with the staff very friendly and thoughtful. We couldn’t have wanted for any more. We would happily stay again

4.0“Cold and comfortless, not a hotel more like a scout hut.”
+Location, Unicorn beer, parking.
−Room, no initial heating, no lounging area in which to relax, pool table out of place, not a hotel as one would know. Impossibly small double bed. Window difficult to open ( old and badly maintained), no lift, stairs access only to check in area, no bill on leaving had to wait for email. Window blinds everywhere. No seating in garret bedroom.

7.0“Pub brilliant but who was checking the hotel”
+The pub downstairs was brilliant, staff were efficient and friendly, food was first class and all in all the pub was a very nice experience 👍
−What we didn’t like was that nobody lived on sight and so the hotel part of ( the upstairs of the pub) the visit let them down badly, our room we were unable to open one of the blinds due to a chain being missing, we were only issued one toilet roll and the room was dusty on the corridor leading to the rooms the carpet needed vacuuming, the two night stay cost it £260 pounds which was far more than the norm but as we were burying my mother I thought it would be a touch of class

8.0+Easy book in. Lovely location.
−No milk on arrival had to ask so we could use tea making facilities in room.

6.0“Great staff…poor cleanliness and maintenance.”
+The Staff. Wonderfully helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Engaging and always there to assist. Breakfast. Great cooked options.
−The hotel needs some basic maintenance. Our room was showing obvious signs of wear and tear that had not been addressed. A broken toilet lid, shower controls without a cover and frayed carpets to mention a few of many. Cleanliness was also an issue, dirty furniture and dust, particularly on the kettle lid and fan….would have sprayed the room if turned on!

6.0“Ok - but could have been better.”
+Breakfast was excellent as were the staff.
−Sadly the room was dirty on arrival. Clearly not hoovered. Also did not clean whilst were out - we stayed 2 nights.

10.0“A stopover after leaving the ferry.”
+Excellent location, we love this area. Great shower, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast . Nice to sit on the balcony and we left the doors open all night , so the room was nice and cool. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Thanks for a great stay.
−Guests can use the fire exit door round the side . It’s a shame it’s a real mess outside there and could do with a good sweep.
