“Good experience.”
+Clean, quiet and secure. Facilities were as stated in the description, very nice swimming pool as well. The location is also ideal, a walking distance from the main road.
−Initially the security guards seemed a bit confused and therefore I had to call the owner to talk to them. The wifi password should be written somewhere visible in the house.

“Great value for money, beautiful exotic and calm compound, but facilities/options need improvement”
+Nice swimming pool with beautiful underwater lights at night. Beautiful compound. Ceiling fans in the compound. Very calm area without noise.
−The WiFi only worked sometimes, making me rely a lot on mobile data. They did not provide extra toilet paper after running out. Told us you have to buy more yourself. It would have been nice if they had electrical floor fans. The rooms have ceiling fans, but those are not always sufficient to beat the intense Mombasa heat, especially not when sleeping. A floor fan that you can put right next to you would help a lot. Eating options are limited, as the compound doesn´t sell food (yet), and you are going to have to walk a bit far like 500 m to get to the nearest eating place. The closest supermarket is 4 km away, but it should be only 200 each way with a tuk tuk. However be prepared. Don´t arrive without food! ... And toilet paper!
