“Beautiful Historic Hotel Centrally Located with Excellent Service and Many Amenities”
+Lovely historic hotel with spacious rooms and nicely appointed decor. Immaculate. Welcoming staff always willing to help. Serah in particular was super helpful planning our three days before we arrived and then during our stay including hiring a private jeep guide for a half day safari, followed by elephant sanctuary, giraffe center, Karen Blixen museum and late lunch at the coffee plantation. She also arranged wonderful packed breakfasts for our safari and early morning departure. On Fridays there is an elaborate Swahili buffet on he pool deck. The pool was sparkling clean and warm. We ran out of time to use the spa. Dinner one night on pool deck was delicious. Isaac checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely return!
−Nothing!

“Memorable stay at historic hotel in downtown Nairobi”
+I was traveling with friends who booked the room on my behalf. It is a beautiful five star hotel with all of the amenities. Large, beautifully decorated room and spacious bathroom. Excellent bed and sheets. I especially enjoyed the Swahili buffet Friday morning and dinner on the pool deck one night. Service was stellar! All were so friendly and welcoming. Serah was particularly helpful. Loved the warm pool. Highly recommend!
−All was excellent

“Beautiful historic and charming hotel in central location of Nairobi.”
+The breakfast room was lovely and spacious. the food choices were great. the historic "old school" charm of this hotel is what makes it so special
−The rules are a little strict to keep up the old school nature of the hotel. While I love assistance with every bag all the time, it is not really necessary and then I felt compelled to tip everyone who helped me even though I did not need help much of the time.

“Lovely place for a night or two”
+Lots of history, facilities on site, great heated rooftop pool and restaurants. Great breakfast in particular!! Lovely staff, made us feel at home and safe. Great to find a peaceful place on the heart of a chaotic city
−Slightly dated rooms and a bit annoying entrance with access from security measures

+The hotel, history and staff were incredible. The senior Concierge Steve took us on a hotel tour describing historical facts where visitors like Queen Elizabeth, Ernest Hemingway, Karen Blixen, and many many more stayed. Having a drink in the original Kenyan Stock Exchange which us now the Long Bar was pretty cool. I simply loved the rooftop pool and bar. If ever in Nairobi again I would choose to stay at the Sarova Stanley again.
