“Expected better”
−Room was not ready when I arrived. The aircon in the room was not working. Was only moved 3 hours later after many requests. New room the shower leaked all over the floor.

“Most appalling! Highly dissuading to stay in that hotel again.”
+Nothing much. The harware is pretty standard of what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Software wise (meaning service) is what you would expect from a by product of management style that dated 40 years ago. System and policy driven, rather than customer centered driven. Even the Front Office Manager is rude and unaccommodating, so how can you expect the frontline staff at the reception to be happy and helpful?
−I was still recuperating from a recent surgery, when I requested for a late check-out, not only were they not accommodating, when I asked to speak with the Front Office Manager, because I know he would have the authority to waive the late check-out fee. When I tried to negotiate the waiver, he turned, and said he would not even extend my late check-out if I wish to pay for it. The man should have never been in the hospitality industry. In the end, he reluctantly agreed to the time I wish to extend my departure and of course, I had to pay. The payment is NOT my main issue, it is the way he presented himself: rude, inhospital and power play.
