“Good place to stay if your desperate, If your not there are significantly better options.”
+It has a nice shared living room/kitchen area
−There was no heat in the bedroom/bathroom area. I was told to use a blanket off another bed if i was cold. The bed felt like springs wrapped in thin cloth. The guy who runs it is unfriendly and doesnt like to be bothered to open the door for someone who’s reserved a bed. He answers the phone quickly and hangs up so if you didn’t catch what he said and you call back he’ll snap at you when he answers and then snap again when he has to open the door to let you in. Very rude.

−I didn't stay in the hostel. I decided after about 20 minutes that I would not be comfortable in this shabby grubby single room so I simply deposited the keys through the front door letterbox and sought alternative accommodation elsewhere in the town. Sorry but I'm saying this to draw people's attention to the fact that this was for me unacceptable. It may be ok for others and as it is cheap it may be fine so take your choice.

“Ideal as a stopover before the ferry. Thank you.”
+All as expected and needed. The room was very adequate with own bathroom. The kitchen area was easy to use with breakfast available. The location was ideal being central to amenities and transport and It was perfect for a brief overnight stay
−There was nothing not to like. All good.

“Thoroughly enjoyed meeting your most helpful staff and our stay. The duvets were just right,”
+Most important. Helpful hosts and good room. Stayed open for our late arrival Friendly staff The kitchen area was easy to use and access to breakfast materials was sufficient for the needs of guests. I would recommend it to anyone.
−I had a bit of a struggle with the access as I had pins in my leg and my partner also had steel pins in her foot. However, the staff helped with our bags so it was not a problem for us. They also made sure we did not fall as we are both of the older generation of pensioners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was excellent value for money
