“Very good stay in Negombo”
+This is our second time in Negombo. The breakfast was exceptional, provided by a fantastic host. One morning, she even waited outside our door for 30 minutes, making sure not to wake us and chasing away flies. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to the beach. You get a huge apartment to yourself, complete with a refrigerator, freezer, small kitchen, and a spacious bathroom.
−The owner monitored our electricity usage, which felt a bit strange. We didn’t use the AC while in the room, but when we wanted to cool the room while we were out for lunch or other activities, it became an issue for the owner. The furniture is quite old, and the bathroom could use more attention. Hot water is available, but the pressure sometimes makes it difficult to use. That said, the regular water isn’t too cold.

“Great budget stay with local breakfast”
+Very kind and lovely hosts, who picked us up at airport for an extra fee, and provided true local breakfast experience. We couldn't decide who was kinder, the mother or the son. The room was bigger than we thought, and there was a kitchen we could use as well.

+Me and my small daughter had an amazing stay in Negombo, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Randhir and his mother, Malika. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast they served was delicious, and the bed was super comfortable. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning and fans, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic, being very close to the beach. Randhir even took us to our next destination, and the trip was really pleasant with him. We felt safe from the first moment till the end and had some nice food along the way. Highly recommended for a warm and welcoming experience!"

“Very nice stay =)”
+We had a great stay at Sampathaa Residence. Randeer and his mum were great hosts! The breakfast was served outside our door on the balcony and it was lovely. You have almost a whole apartment to yourself as they only rent to 1 guest/group of guests at the time, so if u want you can also cook there. The house is located about 5 min walk from the beach and restaurants. We also took the train to Colombo and it takes about 15 min to walk to the closest trainstation. We also got transport to the airport from Randeer, so everything was very smooth.

“A lovely little family owned place to spend a week”
+Randeer and his mum Malika are lovely people. The location is great, just a few minutes to the beach. The accommodation is spacious and secure. Lots of restaurants nearby
−There was no WiFi so had to tether my laptop to my phone to work in the evenings.

+Die Unterkunft war super gelegen, zu Fuß war man in 5 Minuten am Strand und es gab umliegend viele Restaurants. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
−Die Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert und war deshalb zu kalt und aufs Bett eingestellt, weswegen es Nachts mit Klimaanlage zu kalt und ohne zu warm war. Das Problem dürfte aber auch bald wieder behoben sein.
