“Comfortable, calm, kind and convienient.”
+We were so happy with this place. The staff were welcoming and kind. The room was so clean that we could almost believe that we were the first guests ever. The amenities available were generous and high quality. Tiny walk to Senso-Ji and the train station for the Ginza line, though so peaceful. There are two lovely baths (one for men one for women, which alternate), they are small and not strictly private, though if you leave your shoes at the entrance, other guests know it is in use, but they are able to enter. I tried both on numerous occasions and no-one entered. We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer. The area surrouning is tourist heavy but huge and well worth exploring.
−We returned in the middle of the day with our takeaway lunch and in need of a little reprieve and found that our room was being serviced (all good, thank you) though at the same time the lounge was closed. We felt a bit awkward not knowing where we could eat our lunch. it would make sense for the lounge to be open at the same time as the rooms were inaccessable.

“Beautiful traditional ryokan in the heart of Asakusa”
+We were blown away by this ryokan! Perfect location right near Senso-ji, tucked down a quiet little street which is pedestrian access only, no cars. The traditional Japanese room was huge and really well appointed, with an amazing view of the temple (stunning lit up at night). We found the beds very comfortable, and loved the welcome gifts. The lobby area with free drinks and snacks was a huge bonus. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The onsen on the top floor was lovely after a long day of walking. Would stay here again!

+Amazing and friendly staff. Great location, highly recommend just for that. Close to temple, subway, restaurants, yet quiet at night. We had Japanese style room and we loved it.
−Bathroom and the room is pretty small, but expected.

“A peaceful retreat in a busy area”
+The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are lovely, great showers. The baths on the top floor are a treat.
−The mattresses were a bit too firm for me but that’s just personal preference.
