“A great place to stay on the edge of the Old Town”
+Ruby and Emerald Studios are a really great base for exploring Rethymnon. From booking to checking-in, Anton, Maria and Sofia kept me well informed of all details relating to my stay. The Emerald Room was basic, as would be expected for a studio apartment, but it was very clean and well presented, has a huge comfortable bed and has its own spacious private bathroom. It is very well situated within easy walking distance of the throng of the Old Town, but being just far enough on the outskirts to enjoy a more slow and peaceful holiday experience. The rooms are above the accompanying Taverna Ovelos, so there is the associated noise from this popular eating venue below, but I found this acceptable and it did not cause me much disturbance. I would recommend trying the food in the Taverna, really good choices at reasonable prices. Particular thank you to Panos who greeted me on arrival and was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Many thanks.
−It was as I expected. If you require total peace and quiet in the late evening, then do consider that the rooms are above a popular working Taverna that is open up until midnight. The noise is not excessive but neither is there complete silence up until closing time.

“Exactly what I needed”
+Nice and quiet place. Owner was very friendly. They got a restaurant just under the room but no noise at all. Very good food and fresh cold beer there. A few minutes walk to the town centre and bus station.

+Das Zimmer und Bad sind sehr groß, das Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Besitzer (Restaurant unter der Unterkunft) sind sehr nett. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Lage top, am Rand der Altstadt und nah am Busbahnhof. Gutes Essen im Restaurant des Hauses.
−Dadurch, dass sich das Restaurant unter der Unterkunft befindet, ist es nicht sehr ruhig. Man sollte geräuschunempfindlich sein oder Ohrstöpsel dabei haben. Leider wurden in der ganzen Woche weder die Mülleimer geleert noch die Handtücher gewechselt.

+Nagyon jó helyen van a szállás, közel az óváros, séta távolságra minden, a szállás nagyon szép, tiszta. A fürdőszoba a valaha volt legynagyobb, amit Görögországban 20 év alatt láttam😁 a személyzet az étteremben, ami felett vagyunk nagyon kedves, az étel náluk kitűnő, érdemes rögtön náluk enni. Máskor is jönnénk😁

−Χαλασμένο κλιματιστικό 3 μέρες χωρίς ζεστο νερό πετσέτες λερωμενες προϊόντα περιποίησης ανύπαρκτα δυσάρεστες μυρωδιές από την αποχέτευση και το πιο σημαντικό πολύ φασαρία,ηχομόνωση μηδέν φασαρία μέχρι αργά βρίσκεται πάνω από ταβέρνα όποτε είχαμε αγρυπνία

+Δεν το περίμενα αλλά ήταν πολύ πιο μεγάλος ο χώρος από ότι φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες.Πανέμορφο διαμέρισμα με ψηλοτάβανο ταβάνι πραγματικά νιώθεις ότι μένεις σε παλάτι, επίσης εξυπηρετικό το προσωπικό κάτω στην ταβέρνα.Παρα πολύ κοντά σε σούπερ μάρκετ, χώροι διασκέδασης και την παλιά πόλη.Σιγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε!
−Το μόνο αρνητικό που βρήκα ήταν τα ξύλινα κουφώματα λόγο ηχομόνωσης και κρύου αλλά τίποτα σπουδαίο.
