“Not as advertised”
+I don’t like posting two star reviews, but in this case I have to. My wife and I booked up late - I assume the late availability was due to a cancellation - for the night of the Champions League Final. Price ludicrously inflated - although understandably so - at €388 instead of the usual €55. I booked a double room; confirmed by email. When we arrived at the hotel around 2pm, we were checked not into a double room, but a room with three sets of bunk beds. We were frankly too tired to argue, having set off from home at 3am. And on the plus side we were being allowed to check in an hour prior to standard check-in time. We just wanted somewhere to rest for a few hours. However, in addition, the room wasn’t entirely clean and there were no toiletries in the room. The receptionist had asked me to pay the City Tax - it wasn’t until we returned home that I clocked that it had already been included in the price. I therefore ended up paying it twice. On returning after the match, we asked for some soap so that we could shower. The reception team had to scrabble around for some - claiming that as the hotel was being refurbished such items were not made readily available by the owners. Nonsen

“Very bad”
+Good location and nice staff
−I am highly disappointed with my stay here. For a €250 booking, the basics were completely missing. There was no adjustable AC in the room, meaning the temperature stayed at a stifling 25.5°C every single day and we could not control it. To make matters worse, the bathroom lacked basic amenities like shower gel or shampoo, and the room itself looked nothing like the pictures shown online. I feel like I paid a premium price for absolutely nothing. Would not recommend.

“Not great now, might be ok after building work is finished”
+Staff were very friendly.
−Bed was not very comfortable, tv had no power and the a/c did not work. Property was also under extensive renovation. Not really what I paid for.

+The receptionist was really nice and helpful. He did his best despite the fact that the hotel was under reconstruction.
−The hotel is undergoing a reconstructions and turn it to a hostel. My room was advertised as a double room - technically it was 2 bunk beds..so well it was double room.... There was not any soap or shampoo, completely hostel style while the price was not hostel price . It would have been nice to inform the guests about what to expect when they book a room at a HOTEL and not a hostel.
