“Overall lovely stay!”
+Location was good, bed was comfy, free Wifi and shower was amazing!
−Light from hallway shone under door and straight onto bed throughout night and a lift would have been great esp with heavy luggage.

+It would have been okay if the room had not been situated beside a window that absorbed cigarette smoke. I ordered a refund and drove back to Sydney that night after my event.
−The room was choking- full of cigarette smoke as I entered the bedroom and set my throat on fire and created nausea in me as I am allergic to cigarette smoke. Second-hand smoke is especially toxic and I had thought smoking in hotels was banned. The smoke in the bedroom was tantamount to this. Clearly staff were conscious of the smoke because they had left the ceiling fan on which had not eradicated the terrible smell at all. Considering I had booked this room months in advance, I regarded the management of this booking appalling. The staff had had a lot of time to ensure that I could have had a room where there wasn't any smoke in the bedroom. I would give this place a zero out of five if the staff member hadn't given me a refund. That's the only reason I would give it a 1/5 stars.
