“My stay would have been nice if they warned me of excessive noise on a Saturday night”
+The location and the room itself was nice, spacious and clean
−The fact that my room was above the DJ that they set up for a Halloween Party that they were holding on the same night of my room booking. Hotel should not have accepted my room booking knowing in advance that it would be very noisy for their guests in this particular night. I came to Orange for a dragon boat competition and really needed to have a good night sleep and should I have known that I won’t be able to sleep well then I would have booked somewhere else.

“I wouldn't stay there again.”
+A well located hotel with good dining options.
−A very old, tired bathroom. No towel rails. No wardrobe in the bedroom. Unbelievable noise coming from the nightclub making it impossible to sleep.

+Absolute legends of staff. They went to the effort of checking me in twice over the weekend because I was too blackout drunk to remember checking in the first time around.
−Having to pay for accommodation just to use it as a very expensive key card collection.

“Would do more research before staying again”
+Good central location
−You get what you pay for. The pub underneath is open toll 4am every night and on Friday and Saturdays turns into a nightclub, insanely loud and floors shaking. There is no security door between the pub and hotel so anyone can come in off the street. Communal shower and bathroom always dirty. One communal toilet per floor.
