9.0“Relaxing stay and very comfortable!”
+Excellent stay here! Cabin and bathroom were extremely clean and very comfortable. The cabin was warm, even during a chilly night. Very peaceful place and lovely, welcoming owners. Would definitely recommend.

9.0“A great experience in a peaceful location”
+Our stay was great - the shepherds hut & bathroom were both spotless and spacious. Even though it was a cold evening, the hut is warm and cosy. Looking over the sheep fields in the morning was an unbeatable view. Very friendly hosts too.

10.0+Beautiful glamping site with stunning surrounding scenery to admire over a morning coffee. Michael and Lynne were brilliant hosts, very friendly and accommodating and never felt like any request was too much or too big! The glamping hut was very specious and the bed very comfortable
−Can be difficult to get a taxi to/from the closest village Roslin so would recommend pre-booking transport if possible

10.0“Beautiful farm experience”
+Absolutely amazing! Had no expectations at all cause just needed a place near to the wedding ive attended. Turned out to be one of the best accomodations ever, the room is super cute, clean and cozy, best sleep i had in ages, waking up and having breakfest while watching the animals in the endless scottish fields was a beautiful experience. The hosts were great and super helpful with everything. Will be back at some point.
−Keep in mind is hard to find transport in this region so make you either drive or book cabs in advance.

10.0“Fabulous place to stay, great location and experience.”
+Stayed here for the weekend and it was fantastic. The kitchen facilities are basic but the private shower/bathroom and beautiful decor in the hut made up for this. The hut was cosy and warm enough in October and having the doors open onto the view during the day was particularly lovely. The host, horses and quiet made for a wonderful stay.
−The kitchen hut contains a microwave, toaster and kettle so if you want to cook anything you're relying on this equipment. There are BBQ's on offer but I wasn't confident in using these. What was on offer was great for a weekend but I'd have struggled for meals if I stayed any longer.

10.0“Bliss in Roslin”
+We loved this place. Absolute tranquillity and bliss. You're surrounded by fields with horses, sheep and a pony. Your view is south east so you can sit and watch the sunrise over the fields. It is magic. It's a 10m drive to the station and a 10m train to the centre of very busy Edinburgh which is packed to the brim with tourists. This was such a great choice. We were lead by budget but in the end it was a highlight of our trip. Micheal was so lovely, funny and friendly. The cabin is cute and spacious considering it's a cabin. Things to note are: the private bathroom is close if you're in the glamping tent, 50 steps if you're in cabin 2 and about 80 if in cabin 1. If you're a night visitor this is important to know. There are also narrow steps to manage in the night. We were lucky but I imagine in the rain this would be tricky. Another note is this is a double bed size (not Queen). Also note you have a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. BBQ is also available. I could not find a hairdryer but this didn't bother me. We loved this experience and highly recommend it. I couldn't get back fast enough from our day in Edinburgh!

8.0+It is a lovely location and you get your only little bathroom hut. The trainstation is not to far if you want to go into Edinburgh but do not want to drive in the city.
−The chairs and little couch inside are not the most comfortable, but for a few nights and being out most of the day it is totally fine.

9.0“Ideal for quiet getaway in the countryside with lovely interactive owners.”
+Bring your own food and drinks. Great space in shared kitchen area. There were refrigerator 'sections' to put your food in. Toaster, microwave, etc. are in shared kitchen now and not in the tent or shepherd's hut. There is a coffee pot in each separate sleeping area.
−This is only because we have to get up at night! Fantastic private and individual shower/sink/toilet were quite a distance in the middle of the night for us as we are pensioners.
