“Warm, friendly and enjoyable stay”
+I booked Roosevelt Lodge as a last minute getaway for my 12 year old Son and I after a difficult year. We were welcomed by Carl, who was very accommodating, offering to bring in our bags from the car. I had booked a twin room, which was spacious with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities and whilst some would view (as other reviews have suggested) the shower as small, it was hot and more than suitable for my Son and I. The breakfast was meant to be £5 per person but Carl included for free as it was our first time visiting. It was freshly cooked, hot and very tasty. The breakfast room was also very relaxed and friendly with people who had visited before and knew Carl and his Dad - this is testament to a wonderful bed and breakfast! Regarding location, this was excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the clock tower and the beach. Parking spaces outside the property are a real bonus and I recommend requesting a space if travelling by car. Overall a very warm, friendly and enjoyable stay, we would highly recommend.
−If I was being really picky, I would recommend your towels could do with an upgrade. Otherwise we could not fault anything, a really enjoyable stay, thank you.

+Excellent reception. The guy who I met was very welcoming. Offering to take up luggage upstairs. Nice experience. One of the best ones I've been to in the area. Been there 6 days. Then decided to extend my holiday for another 3 days with another company, wish I hadn't as the experience isn't a good one. Roosevelt Lodge though is very welcoming. Just wished they had a vacancy for the extra 3 days. Thank you.
−None. It was a perfect stay. Didn't try breakfast but I only like bran flakes, so I can't compare the breakfast experience.

“Comfortable break”
+The host Carl was friendly when we arrived.Helped with our luggage up to our room. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed and hot shower. Breakfast was meant to be £5 per person but Carl included for free and it was very tasty. Great location with free parking.Near the beach,shops and amusements.Would recommend.
