“Spacious Double Room with a large balcony”
+Lovely double room with a large balcony 😍 The owner, Elena, is very friendly and helpful. It's the small things that make a big difference when you are travelling. Pension Romantica takes care of everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants, and a short distance from Europa-Park and Rulantica

“Definitely not worth the money”
+The place was reasonably clean with no bugs, and the shower worked. The location was satisfactory, in the town of Rust. The lady took our dirty dishes and washed them when the kitchen sink was broken.
−- The owner/worker at the house would simply open our locked door and walk into our rooms unannounced, multiple times over the days we stayed there. - The booking said breakfast was included, but when I asked about breakfast after checking in, I was told it was no longer offered. Instead, stale cereal and dusty tea bags were available in our room. - The wifi was completely unusable. I kept asking for passwords for a few wifi networks named Romantica or similar with stronger reception from our rooms, but they refused to give them to me and stopped replying to my messages. - Most of the mattresses were uncomfortable and some were broken (e.g. springs sticking out the middle). The pillows were flat and we were only given one (very flat) pillow and one small blanket per person. We were not given more pillows or blankets when we asked. - The kitchen sink was broken when we were there. - The rooms were extremely cold when we first arrived, but after turning on the heaters, the rooms became too warm. One heater couldn't be turned on and another couldn't be turned off, so we struggled to get a comfortable enough temperature to sleep. - There was only one key for 3 of us which was inconveni

“Perfect for Europa Park”
+The property is ideally situated for Europa Park and you can walk to the entrance within 15 minutes, the room was nice and spacious room. The host was friendly and whilst didn’t speak English our limited German enabled us to communicate well. Thank you for a nice stay

“Stay was good, but with a bitter taste after!”
+Location is perfect for a trip to Europapark, breakfast is good, free parking in front of the building and flexible check-in/check-out.
−I was about to grade the B&B with an 8 or 9, but ended up very disappointed. I booked for 1 person by accident and found out when we arrived. I called and asked for a second blanket, since there was only one (on a double bed). It was no problem, but I had to pay extra. Fair enough. I expected something around 20-25 euros per night for breakfast, but ended up at 50 (!) euros extra per night. Seemed a lot, so I asked why it was so much, but since the owner does not speak English, only German, and my German is very basic, I didn’t want to begin a discussion through Google Translate, so I agreed, paid (cash) and forgot about it. Until I searched for the B&B later to recommend it to a friend and checked the prices: the difference online between 1 and 2 guests is 20 euros per night maximum, not 50. That’s just not right, she took advantage of the situation. I value a moral compass in people and this is an example of not having one. I will not recommend the place.

“Very nice beside the renovation.”
+The location is good, near the park. The host is very nice and everything was good !
−The host could’ve tell us the property was under renovation. Just a quick warning would’ve been nice ! We arrived and the workers were working on the roof it was very very noisy at the end of the afternoon. And the morning it start again at 8:00am with big tools…

+Wir konnten unser Auto vor Ort stehen lassen und die Zeit im Europapark vollends geniessen. Super waren auch 2 Matratzen und 2 Bettdecken. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.
−Leider war das zweite angefragte und dann zugesicherte Kopfkissen nicht vorhanden. Auch Duschgel/Shampoo für Damen war nicht da.

“Als Übernachtungsgelegenheit für einen Besuch im Europapark sehr gut geeignet”
+Hilfsbereite Besitzer, sauberes Appartement, kostenloser Parkplatz und das alles in weniger als 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Haupteingang zum Europapark.
