+The host family are absolutely wonderful. They are so thoughtful and just want to make sure you are happy, and are seeing and doing enough in the area. They showed me more than I had expected to see/do, and wanted to chat and share things about our respective home countries. The room and shared space was spotless and beautiful, with everything you might need. Breakfast was enormous and very delicious! I wish I could have stayed for longer, and would tell everyone to stay at Rock View without a doubt. Make sure to add a little more time than you think you need - you will not regret it! Coming up to nearly 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, this is my favourite stay so far :)

+One of the BEST places we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!! We Loved everything about this Gorgeous Homestay. Amazing location to the stunning caves, the most beautiful hosts who spoilt us with amazing food & kindness overload. Treated to a beautiful clean room & wonderful comfortable house.. home away from home!!

“Home away from home”
+We reserved for one night and stayed for three. We felt like home. The hosts did everything to make us comfortable, help us organize our visits, and brought us to different sights. Very clean. And what delicious, varied and hearty breakfast, we got to taste many sri lankan traditional cuisine. Thank you for having us!

“Peaceful homestay walking distance to Cave Temple”
+We liked the hospitality and local tips on where to go. We loved the Sri Lankan breakfast which was different each day. It was fun to watch the monkeys from the balcony. It was a lovely 15 minute walk to the Temple Caves.

“Welcoming hosts, in a great location”
+Gorgeous balcony overlooking a quiet jungly street, where you could watch monkeys playing. Very friendly hosts who chatted to us and cooked a delicious filling breakfast. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Amazing location just a short walk from the cave temples so we went there early in the morning before breakfast.

“Silent and cozy location close to Temple Cave”
+Nice Clean home, cozy terrace with a view on the trees and monkeys coming to spy on us 🤭. Very silent position. The hosts took very good care of us spoiling us with Sri Lankan Breakfast and suggestions about daily activities

+I had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, very comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and incredibly generous , the perfect start to the day. The family is truly lovely, so kind, helpful, and attentive, which made me feel right at home. The house is set in a peaceful and relaxing environment, yet still close to many beautiful places to visit. And one of the highlights: watching monkeys from the balcony , such a magical experience! 🐒✨
