+Ideal location in the centre of Lynton. Really enjoyed my stay. Great breakfast and Ness' homemade bread was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Rockvale House.

+Property Manager Phil and his lovely partner were very gracious hosts; the home cooked breakfast with home baked bread and preserves was delicious. Phil was very helpful making restaurant recommendations, parking was easy, which is rare in Lynton.

“Rockvale House”
+everything couldn't fault it.Hosts Phil and Ness make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive.Room spotlessly clean.Comfiest bed 😴 Gorgeous view from our bedroom (room 2) .The usual tea coffee etc in room along with bottles of water and a chocolate. 😃Actually provided bathrobes which is a lovely treat .The guest lounge downstairs is a stunning room which adjoins a room with a bar for an evening drink if required. We couldn't fault this gem of a place to stay ,loved it and highly recommend a stay here

“Welcoming and comfortable”
+The guest house is a little dated decor wise but it added to the charm and evoked memories of holidays in the 70s. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room we had number 1 was large and well appointed with 2 chairs and plenty of storage space. The bed was comfy and the shower was really good which is never guaranteed when travelling. The breakfast was superb, you chose what you wanted the night before and top ups of drinks, toast etc we're always offered. We didn't use the lounge or bar but they looked very comfy and if the weather had been bad im sure we would have used them. Reading through the guest book on departure it seems that all the guests loved the place too.
−Nothing negative to say, it was all lovely. If you're looking for an upmarket boutique hotel then this isn't for you but if you want personal great customer service and a comfortable environment then its perfect.
