“Best stay in Ella”
+We stayed here for three nights and had an absolutely amazing experience! The room and bathroom were excellent, and the outdoor area was one of our favourite parts, with a table, two chairs and a relaxing net to lie on while enjoying the incredible views. The scenery was simply breathtaking! The host was also incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. 10/10 - highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again!

+The host was super friendly and helpfully. The view from the terrace was amazing. With more options to enjoy it. The room and bathroom were really clean. We enjoyed a movie night with the big screen beamer.
−Just one thing and that is the water pressure. It would be nice if it was a bit stronger. But we could use all the facilities well.

“Amazing views, great breakfast and really lovely family!”
+The hotel location was absolutely beautiful and we got to wake up to an amazing view of the mountains each morning. It’s around a 25 minute walk into Ella town however they offer a tuktuk wherever you like at any given time which we found so helpful and a lot cheaper than the local tuktuks. They also arranged transport to pick us up from Sigiriya and our onward travel to Yala which was really convenient! Room was also super clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing each morning, we got provided a range of fruit, omlette, smoothies, toast and different Sri Lanka dishes which were so tasty. The family were so lovely and made us feel so welcome - they really couldn’t do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

+Die Unterkunft hat alle Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und unglaublich freundlich empfangen. Unser Gastgeber machte für uns alles möglich (TukTuk Transfers, Abendessen im eigenen Restaurant, sogar ein kleines Frühstück zum mitnehmen für eine frühe Wanderung). Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern, sauber und mit einem tollen Badezimmer. Das absolute Highlight war die Terasse auf der auch das Frühstück serviert wird. Dort sind Liegestühle und eine Matte, auf der man gut chillen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, mit vielen Früchten, auch aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt am Hügel überhalb von Ella. Dadurch ist man nicht direkt im Trubel der Stadt sondern kann gut entspannen. Tolle Ausgangslage für die Wanderung zum Ella Rock. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben. Danke für Alles!

“Preciosa pequeña villa donde desconectar del ruido del centro.”
+Oshan el encargado es muy amable y atento. Nos ayudaba con todo, desde reservar tuk tuks para llevarnos al centro (se llega en 10 minutos) hasta para los transfer a otros sitios. Cada mañana nos traía un desayuno espectacular que tomábamos en la terraza con unas vistas preciosas. Todo estaba muy limpio, la terraza tiene una red muy cómoda donde tumbarse a leer un rato o simplemente a admirar el paisaje. Además tiene plancha y perchas para la ropa y secador.
−Todo fue genial aunque si tuviera que ponerle un pero sería que le faltaba un poco de presión al agua tanto del baño como de la ducha.

+Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Rock View Cottage. La chambre est parfaitement propre, avec un balcon privatif, et au calme à l’écart du centre animé d’Ella (25min à pieds). La vue est imprenable depuis ce petit cocon intimiste. L’établissement est tenu par une famjlle, tous très gentils, souriants et serviables, donneurs de bons conseils, ouverts à la discussion et aux petits soins! Ils nous ont à de nombreuses reprises emmenés en tuktuk dans la ville (à 5min) mais aussi emmené en voiture jusqu’à notre destination suivante (Udawalawe). Bref, on s’est senti à la maison ! Gros coup de cœur, nous recommandons +++ 🙏
