+The breakfast table was perfectly arranged and breakfast was also very nice. The owner of the house, Paul and lizzie were at their toes for any service. Mr Paul was very freindly and nice to talk to and share your day experience.

+The house is ideally located and an absolute joy to visit. It is a historical property which has been maintained beautifully. The owners are so friendly and couldn’t have made our stay any better.

+The breakfast was a highlight, with natural products and high quality crockery, in a cozy room overlooking the garden. The host, Paul, has been very kind, welcoming, and happy to provide suggestions and information on the local attractions and activities. Parking space and wifi are available in the property. The house is fascinating.

+Really friendly owners. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the little reading nook in the bedroom. Very well located for Bakewell.
−The breakfast was underwhelming. Very little choice and all quite basic. I don’t think you could really call it a continental breakfast. It was mostly just toast and cereal

“An incredibly cozy weekend.”
+Rock House felt like a home from home. We checked in and I found myself no longer wanting to go out for the evening, but rather stay in and curl up with the friendliest cats I have ever met! The room was homely and comfortable, and breakfast was incredibly tasty with huge choice! I can't wait to come back.

“Lovely place and people. Not too far out of Bakewell.”
+Cosy, plenty of room, very clean, friendly owners, wood burner in lounge which was appreciated after a cold day out. 2 gorgous, friendly dogs and cat. Lovely breakfast setting, Lizzie obviously pays attention to detail and makes sure guests are comfortable and happy. Loved staying here and felt very welcome.
−Couldn’t find the place but found we had driven past, the house wasn’t obvious as driving past

+We had such a lovely stay - thank you to Lizzie and Paul who were excellent hosts. Breakfast provided was delicious and just what we needed to fuel our days of exploring. Our room was spacious, clean and exceeded expectations. The bed was comfortable and the house was quiet - couldn’t hear any traffic or disruptions. The location of this stay is perfect and central to Bakewell and an easy drive to Chatsworth House. The bathroom was great with clean towels provided and a spacious shower.
