“Great return trip to Roatan, I'll be back again!”
+Location off the beaten path. However West Bay is just a short bus ride away ($1.25?) Great private rooms with a private kitchen or hostel with communal kitchen. Grocery store right around the corner. Pool area is outstanding. Snorkeling about a 10/15 min walk away, main road, turn right up the hill, you'll see the water. 5 min swim to reef. Dayo, Ceasar, and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
−That I had to leave.

“Perfect for our 2 days - now wish we’d stayed longer”
+The helpful owner / communal meals cooked by owners son and snorkelling trip
−Location - but realised there are lots of minibuses you flag down to get to west End Just late nights going out needed a taxi home

“Would be there again if I came back to Roatan”
+The attentive and helpful staff, the variety of room choices, the common kitchen, the pool, the variety of common areas to relax and socialize, the international clientele, the feeling of safety, a percentage of revenue given to charity, very good value
−the location: no restaurant in walking distance ( I am old and walk slow), only a daytime cafe; however there is a supermarket close by, so if you prefer to prepare your own meals, then this is no disadvantage

“My stay was comfortable and I enjoyed the community of staff and travelers.”
+The location was off the main road and somewhat tucked away. It was walking distance or bus easy access to food spots although not in a real touristy area. Also there is daily dinner served if you prefer. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay.

“Cutting trees, kicking cans, running a circular saw all before 8 am”
−Noisy no real consideration for sleeping guests in the morning

+Nice hostel, in a beautiful garden in Sandy Bay, 2 mins walk off the main street, supermarket at the corner, colectivos / taxis on the main road. Beautiful little pool in the back. Clean kitchen. The room is a converted cargo container, spacious inside, clean. AC available (for an extra?), but a ceiling fan was enough. Friendly staff and pets
−The side street leading to the hostel was in construction - this should've been communicated beforehand. The room is basic, although sufficient. I would definitely fix the gap in the front door, and add a night table on the other side of the bed.

+Very friendly staff....good location....
−We were in a room next to reception and from where everyone was walking past.....a bad smell of toilet and mould....
