“Overall very good, great for families”
+Gorgeous river walk and views from the hotel and thankfully our room. The room was nicely decorated and clean enough. The restaurant was convenient along with the parking including 3rd party car chargers (2 available from GoCharge). Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. €5 voucher available for skipping room clean for your stay (eco friendly initiative). No fuss hotel. Very family friendly with goody bags, activity packs, sweets and drinks from Halloween characters at reception, kids club, family films on. The pool is great too for families although the water and air was quite cold in my opinion especially for infants.
−The room had a 'smart' fan powered radiator which you have control over, which they mention as part of their eco friendly initiative, however no matter what we did with the settings, including turning it off completely, the heat still kept coming. As we had a baby in our stay we couldn't sleep with the balcony door open so we felt quite suffocated with the heat. A fan is provided but did not help much. We mentioned it to reception and maintenance guys came but there was a misunderstanding that there was an issue with the shower and they seemed to permanently restrict the shower temperature to not too hot. When we called them back again we weren't around if anyone came, we thought the issue may have been resolved as the rad was off at one point but soon came on again. There are misunderstandings over whether breakfast is included or not and we saw this happen to another family too. We weren't charged on the first morning but on the second we were, so when I went to pay at reception I was honest and told them we hadn't paid the day before either (after confirming on my booking that we didn't book with it included). So I paid €90 for 2 adults and a kid for 2 days of breakfast. On the

“Lovely hotel as always”
+Staff are always so helpful, friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is friendly & has high standards in terms of atmosphere , cleanliness, & value
−My room was very far from reception- down some stairs with no lift access Considering this was a family room, I’m not sure what people do if they have push chairs It definitely wouldn’t be suitable for people with poor mobility

−Not enough parking. Food in the bar was overpriced. Room was expensive because it was busy. Beds are was too soft. Like a water bed.
