“Galena History Tour”
+Staff were friendly and accessible. Loved the texting option. Fairly short walking distance to sightseeing and dining options. Free parking nearby (but limited). Smart hub installed in room. Checkin staff provided a map and highlighted sightseeing locations.
−Busy street outside our window. Crossing it was challenging due to car travel speeds. Pedestrian bridge or crossing light would be safer. We used rain sound to drown the traffic noise to sleep. Stairs would be challenging for those with limitations.

“Great value, great location, and nice staff.”
+We like the location of the property. It’s around 5 minutes walk to downtown Galena. Also, the facility is clean and staff is very helpful and friendly.
−The room that we got doesn’t have a restroom. So, when we used during the night, we had to unlock the digital door to get back. The lock is a little bit loud so it could wake up your partner during the sleep.

“We were very happy with our stay.”
+The manager was really friendly and helpful. The setting was charming and the proximity to town great. The room had windows on two sides and was a nice size
−The stairs were steep and we could hear the room next door.

“Great little spot at the end of Main Street for a nice and comfortable stay”
+Great little spot at the edge of Galena Main Street. Nice, clean room. Nate, the host, was very accommodating and nice. I like how I could text him with any questions or concerns (we had none). Would stay here again.
−Everything was pretty nice and what I would expect an old building to be like. While the bed was not uncomfortable, I could see that being one area that could be even better. We didn't check out the included continental breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

+Loved all the little extra, to try and think of what we would need, bed was very comfortable, place was a short walk to the park and downtown Galena, room was very clean and inviting. We stayed in room #10, next time I will use my phone app for background noise, to reduce the noise of the traffic, will definitely stay here again when we come to visit Galena in the fall and spring
