+The property is beautiful. The bed and room were comfortable and had a pretty view. The breakfast basket provided each morning was delicious. The hosts/owners were easy to communicate with.
−It was a little weird that there was no type of reception area or staff when we arrived. We used a code to enter the property. The owners were receptive when we reached out by text, and anything we questioned or needed was handled, but we never quite knew who was in the house at any one time. We met one of the staff members towards the end of our stay, and she was lovely.

“Very annoyed at facilities not available as advertised”
+Its location and beautiful grounds and friendly obliging owners
−It was advertised as a self contained unit. Actually there was only one of those in an annexe Other rooms were off a common living room. Users of one of those rooms had to go through that living room to use their bathroom!!! Booking.com describes all rooms as having a kitchen . Simply not true … weren’t even allowed to use the common kitchen. Total waste of groceries we had bought. No TVs in rooms… tho owners did provide us with one when we complained Lovely place but simply NOT as advertised

“Delightful to stay at Riverbend Retreat for the night, despite the inconveniences.”
+LThe breakfast was plentiful and excellent, just what we wanted. The location was beautiful, it was an oasis but there was a bit of highway traffic noise. We had a lovely walk around their grove/playground-equipped property.
−It was difficult to use the entry code. It wasn’t efficient...we waited 15 minutes to gain access. In the bedroom: difficult access to the closet, hard to move between the bed and the dresser that were too close together, and only ceiling, no ambient (lamp) lighting. The beautifully furnished parlor was dark and I couldn’t find how to turn on the lights.

“A Soulful Retreat by the River”
+An unforgettable stay at Riverview Retreat FL! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Chris, whose kind heart and beautiful smile instantly made us feel at home. The property is immaculately clean and feels like a luxurious spa,not just for the body, but for the soul. Every detail, from the cozy s’mores area and hammock to the riverfront chairs and the walkway to the yacht, is designed for relaxation and beauty. A special shoutout to the young chef, Josiah, who prepared the most delicious breakfasts and lunches. His thoughtful menus and presentation truly elevated our experience. The best part? Waking up to a stunning sunrise right outside our room,it was pure peace and magic. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return!
