“My short stay was comfortable and pleasant.”
+The garden setting was nice and the river view from the restaurant was good. We could see activities at the river and spotted a rhino crossing the river from the hotel to the forest during our 6 am breakfast.
−The hotel is still expanding its facilities. The pool was being built while we were there.

“I loved it. So peaceful and beautiful. Good to stay an extra day to rest after safari”
+So peaceful and a Rhino came at sunset in the afternoon. I loved the cottage in the garden .
−The bed is uncomfortable and a few things didn’t work in the room. But I loved the space and outlook

“Beautiful stay”
+Hotel is in a great location - with an hour of being there I saw two rhino in the river behind :) staff are very helpful. We had a nice lunch in the restaurant too. AC works well in hot, hot Chitwan!

+The property is set in an amazing location overlooking the river. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and we were very kindly upgraded to a premium room as it was off season. They are building a pool and a cafe overlooking the river which will be amazing i’m sure!
−Unfortunately we were made to feel slightly guilty for not booking our activities through the property which were significantly more expensive than what we had found, which as two students on a bit more of a budget, was important to us.

+We had a great stay. The staff were very accommodating and kindly helped us shorten our stay without any issues. They also informed us whenever a rhino was near the hotel, which made the experience even more special. Every day, bottled water was replenished in the room, which we really appreciated. Overall, excellent service and a wonderful experience.

+The best thing about the place is the guide, Mr Mangara. He is absolutely the BEST!
−The rooms which say river view no longer have a proper river view since they are building a block of rooms in front of the existing rooms. The food at the restaurant is also mediocre, better to eat out if you are staying here.

+Very close to everything in Sauraha. The staff were very friendly and organised our safari trips. All went very smoothly. It was nice to be in nature and listen to the birds in the morning

“Definitely worth a visit!”
+The team of staff made us feel like we were part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. They organised very competitively-priced jeep safaris for us - and the guide, Mangara, was top class! Breakfast was included and definitely set us up for the day! The view from our room's balcony was of the river- beautiful! We were even lucky enough to see a rhino wandering through the garden!
−Couldn't fault River View Jungle Camp! We will watch their development with interest as they are adding a swimming pool and a new restaurant and bar on the riverside.
