+Great location, loved being on the River, comfortable beds.
−Checked with host before arriving to make sure we could get food nearby, but everything was closed for over 20 miles including the pizza place. We would have brought food. Oh well.

“Disappointing. Would not recommend it.”
−Check in was a disaster. No cell phone coverage to complete check in. No one in the lodge to help us. Price was high and rating was excellent so expected more. Was an okay cabin with a beautiful stream, okay mountains and horrible service.

“Frustrating checking in, but a lovely stay”
+The views were amazing from my room. The lodge is next to the river. Sitting on the back porch listening to the river flow by was magical. Bed was very comfortable.
−Communication was not clear. I was sent a text saying I would be in Lodge#2. I thought that meant that meant the Lodge was number 2 but learned the next the #2 was the room number. His text should have read: Lodge, Room 2. I could not access WIFI calling on my phone and no one was at the Lodge when I got there. Had I not been so tired from driving all day and desperate for a bathroom I may have figured it out. But I used the passcode in the text to enter a room and as it worked, I thought that must be my room (it also looked like the room on the website). Turned out he gave me the housekeepers passcode, that would open any room and the family who should have had the room came later and as I was settled in they took another room. They were not happy and I felt bad.

“Paradise on the Salmon river”
+Location, location, location! We were on a 9000 mile Western loop. We needed a place to reset and reboot. This place was exactly what we needed. There is a great store next door with snacks, limited food items and an awesome selection of fishing and rafting gear and apparel and local craft beer. They serve breakfast and coffee as well. This place is special. The Salmon river should be on everyone's bucket list.
−The beds were very comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean and well appointed.
