+We have been staying at the River Rapids hotel for years and really like it
−I do think it is very cheeky of the hotel to put cones out stopping cars from parking on the street just so they can force people to pay extra for their parking on top of the room price. They have no legal right to put no parking cones on the street and don’t own the street. This alone will stop me booking with this hotel in the future

−Dirty room, someone came in to only remove the garbage from bathroom and straightened the towels that was it no turn down service at all. Make sure your room is closed before you go anywhere ours was gimmied open when we came from walking and we where exterior side.thank goodness we never left valuable things lying around. And very loud you can here everything people above. Not a place I would recommend

“If your looking for a pool and hot tub this place currently doesnt have one even though still advert”
+They were able to accommodate 2 rooms side by side and a cot last minute , not far from the falls
−Rooms not very sound proof can hear all the other rooms. Stated there was a pool and hot tub and looks like they have been broken for quite awhile.

“Great location putty about the room”
+Good solid shower
−Facilities are very dated A lot needs fixing The standard the rooms were cleaned to was very erratic, bed not made, cups & coffee not replaced, shampoo etc not replaced. Breakfast was basic and staff member was too busy looking at her mirror and doing exercises or on her phone to refill coffee or hot water. Corridor on level two smelled of chlorine / musty. Exit bar to car park near breakfast area very loose and possible hazard in an emergency.

“If you are looking for low budget hotel then it’s the right one.”
−Tv is not working, room smells so bad. Early check-in is possible written on website but only half an hour before check-in is possible. Reception lady has no idea about public transport and not very interested to any kind of questions.
