+Comfortable stay with good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the new management is doing a great job improving the place. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the room gets very hot in the morning due to the sunrise, especially without air conditioning. Overall, still a pleasant experience.

“Good for the trail”
+Great location to do the Pekoe trail and easy access to local shops. Host was lovely and organised dinner for us as lots of places were closed during the public holiday!
−Access to clean water was limited but we were able to boil some water with the kettle provided

“Great for the budget traveller”
+Amazing value. Great stay because of the price.
−Flies in the room, no cooking facilities in the kitchen, no fridge, middle of nowhere location with expensive tuk tuks because of the Ella effect.

“Passable”
+The views of the river and the train loop
−The floor was dirty, and the bedsheets didn’t seem fresh. The towel was slightly dirty, and the cups were unclean, so I couldn’t drink tea. When I tried to take a shower, the handset suddenly disconnected from the hose, so I had to use the hose itself to shower. Also, there was a small step separating a quarter of the room. I tripped over it 4 or 5 times, so be careful, you might end up breaking your toes
