−Bathtub was not the 'spa bath' that was expected. Tub had issues that apparently caused leakage downstairs. Whole room was in a general state of disrepair. Loose screws, nuts, bolts, etc in various drawers.

“I had an amazing stay.”
+The accommodation was superb and quiet inside, staff very approachable, warmth in the room was amazing, and no odour.
−The location was superb, but I almost missed it until I took a closer look at the door numbers. I did not see a description of River Haven Edinburgh on the door or wall; perhaps it is there, and I did not notice it. I saw a bug/insect on the floor. Had to place the bin on it. Would be best to conduct pest control. The bathroom window scared me because it was slightly open, like it was about to fall, so I called the staff to close it. One of the containers on the bathroom sink had no label. I think that should be corrected.

“Disappointing! Camping cot is NOT A BED. The location is great. 70-80 Euro value not 130.”
+Location was the only good thing about this venue. Ease of access was extremely practical. View on the garden made for a calm night (had the camping cot masquerading as bed been comfortable).
−We feel cheated. EXTREMELY POOR VALUE! Camping cot for 3rd adult in the party. How can you ask full price for this? Also, unfortunately bugs came out from drain (cockroaches?) - definitely did not expect.

“Keeping up appearances”
+The shower is good. The apartment appeared clean. The broken window could not be fixed during our stay, but they did patch it with tape in the end.
−Windows directly to the street. Anyone can look in There are only blackout curtains, which means either full dark or being exposed (fine at night, but less nice when it is not dark out yet). Generally very bad sound insulation. We could hear everything from the street and from the hallway especially. No sound insulation between bathroom and bedroom, because the door had a big gap under it. Many people are struggling with the door's keypad. We heard every time someone wanted to enter. Food was prepared by staff downstairs which you could smell through the whole building Very sqeeky bathroom door waking up others sleeping in room. We asked for a fix with a drop of oil, but no efforts were made. The listing on Booking mentions a whirlpool, but there is none. Maybe in a different room? Internet connection was extremely spotty. Television signal dropped mulitple times, likely because of bad internet.

“Sufficient”
+The bed mattress is incredibly comfortable, like clouds. The space itself is quite big, bathroom good size and everything looks modern and clean.
−Although the stay was good, we found what looks like a cockroach in the bedroom so I’d recommend to check for pests or put some kind of repellent against them. The option for the showers were mainly handwashing liquids with conditioner so I’d be ideal if it was more obvious which was intended to be a body wash

“nettes kleines Zimmer mit allem was man braucht”
+die Lage war recht zentral und ruhig. Das Fenster von unserem Zimmer ging in den Garten und war im Untergeschoß, welches über eine Treppe erreichbar war. Es war sauber und das Bad schien komplett neu mit großer Dusche!
−Die genannten Parkplätze direkt vor der Unterkunft bezog sich auf öffentliche Parkplätze (glaube insgesamt 8) direkt vor dem Haus und nicht frei waren. Wir mussten im nahen Einkaufszentrum parken und durften dafür 30 Pfund zahlen, das war ärgerlich, da ich die Unterkunft wegen der Parkplätze ausgewählt hatte.
