“Our Northen getaway”
+The location is fantastic. The view from our kitchen window was gloriouse and panoramic. Stepping out the back door was like stepping into tranquility. Wildlife everywhere to see. Definitly a place if you like peace and quiet, and watching the odd tracktor and farmer going about there buisness.
−Only issue with the accomidation was a dripping tap in the kitchen.

“Very comfortable.”
+Very well equipped self contained accommodation in a peaceful environment. Louise greeted me with a homemade cake, still warm from the oven which was a nice homely touch.
−Nothing.

+Comfy spacious room with a handy little fridge and plenty of storage space for clothes. Warm welcome with nice cake on arrival, thank you, and even had lactose free milk provided on request. Plenty of parking and an ideal quiet rural location that was not too far from decent places to eat and all the places we wanted to visit.
−It would have been nice to have mugs as well as tea cups in the room and a waste paper bin would have helped us to keep the room tidier.

+The location is great, peaceful and easy to get to, with restaurants nearby. It has a lovely country-farm feel, with chickens nearby (all hens, so thankfully not noisy!). There are DVDs and a DVD player available, TVs in each room and multiple bathrooms, which makes the place really convenient for a group stay. Overall, it’s a lovely peaceful location with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
−Only a few minor issues really, some of the remote controls were missing batteries and a couple of the board games had pieces missing. Nothing major though and it didn’t affect our stay.

“Comfy, family friendly with good facilities.”
+It was a nice quiet location that was child friendly. The property had everything we needed to make our stay a comfy one. We travel up to Newcastle regularly and would book this place again without doubt.
−We did have to hoover and febreze spray the sofa on arrival as it had dog hair and smelt like dog. We do have dogs at home so it didn't bother us enough to mention it at the time but just to make you aware!
