“Nice staff and good breakfast, but disappointing trip recommendation”
+The room had air conditioning, which was very helpful. We were welcomed very kindly, and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage earlier, even though check-in was later, so we did not have to walk around the city with our bags. Everyone was generally very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were also good. The location in the medina gives you a chance to experience the real atmosphere of Marrakech, although it may feel a bit intense at first.
−The biggest disappointment was a trip recommended by the host Mohammed. We wanted to go to the Atlas Mountains and see the waterfalls, but instead we were taken to several other places where people tried to sell us things or pressure us into buying something. It felt quite touristy and like a tourist trap. Later, when we thought we were finally going to the mountains, we were told we would need to pay extra for a guide to actually go there, even though this was the main reason we booked the trip. It wasted a lot of our time and spoiled our overall impression a bit. The location, although atmospheric, felt a little uncomfortable in the evenings, especially at the beginning of our stay. We got used to it later, but it may not be ideal for everyone. The bathroom in our room was also not very good. There was an unpleasant smell, and there was no proper shower cabin, so water was spreading around the bathroom and even slightly towards the room.

−There are some things that the hotel owners could improve, such as the lighting in the room is quite dim, the smell of sewage from the bathroom is not the most pleasant thing, and they could remove the photo of the jacuzzi until it is reinstalled because I consider it misleading. And for those who want a trouble-free sleep, the singing of the hodja at 5 am from the nearby mosque may be a problem. We didn't hear it anymore on the last night 😁

“Enttäuschend”
+Das einzig positive war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter, welcher uns auch vom Riad bis zum Taxi begleitet hat und unsere Koffer genommen hat. Auch das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckte gut, aufgrund von Magenproblemen konnten wir nicht viel essen leider. Auch bekamen wir bei Ankunft einen kostenlosen Tee, das war sehr nett. Die Dusche war recht schön und das Zimmer an sich optisch ansprechend gestaltet.
−Die Lage ist eine Katastrophe, es ist am Rande der Medina (das war uns bewusst). Jedoch musste man durch dunkle sehr verwinkelte Gassen gehen, sobald eine Person hinter einem lief war einem etwas Bange. Bei der Ankunft lief uns ein junger Mann den ganzen Weg hinterher und wollte uns zeigen wo es ist (ACHTUNG: IMMER NEIN sagen, sonst kann es sehr teuer werden) - auch als wir mehrfach nein sagten lies er nicht ab. Ohne den geschickten Standort des Riads vorab per WhatsApp hätten wir es nicht gefunden. Abends sind wir extra zurück bevor es dunkel war. Zur Ausstattung: die Betten sind unwahrscheinlich hart, wir haben beide sehr schlecht geschlafen und wachten vor dem Wecker gerädert auf. Im Bad stank es warum auch immer plötzlich extrem nach altem Abwasser über Nacht. Wie gesagt: der einzige Lichtblick war, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten und der sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

“Fantastisk riad i medinaen🩷”
+Ren og delikat riad. Nydelig frokost. Varmt vann i dusjen ( noe det ikke alltid er..😔) Rolige omgivelser og hjelpsom betjening. Veldig mye for pengene🩷 Takk til Joe, Meriam, Koutar og Momo🧡
