“Lovely riad, but a disappointing end to our stay”
+Perfect location, Quiet inside, beautifully decorated, very nice staff, food was very nice including dinner and breakfast. Room was beautiful, spacious and bed was very comfortable.
−Masage was below average and very expensive. Unfortunately, our last day was spoiled. On the morning of check-out, I folded my long white linen dress and left it on top of the bed with my bags while I packed. I went for a massage, and when I came back to the room a short while later, the dress was gone. I spoke to the owner, explained that the item had disappeared, and didn't accuse anyone. He spoke with the staff, but the dress was never recovered. Apart from this, everything was very nice. I just didn't expect something like this to happen in such a small riad, especially at this price. I hope the management looks into it so future guests don't have the same experience.

“Gracious Hospitality”
+The staff, especially Lahcen, the front desk manager, offered exceptional service, including arranging for excursions, helping us change money, guiding us to the best stores and making reservations for exceptional restaurants. Lahcen works really hard to help the guests, and he deserves much praise for his graciousness while helping guests at at turns.

+Had the most gorgeous stay at Riad Jaaneman - the perfect start to our Morocco trip! The location is perfect (right in the Medina but so quiet and peaceful with zero noise from outside - a little oasis in the madness of the city), food was incredible (definitely some of the best we’ve had on our trip so far) and the staff - including Lahcen - were just incredible! They were so friendly, kind and helpful and took the time to sit with us and give us some great tips for Marrakech on our first day. The design of the riad is gorgeous too - so chic, and we fell in love with the turtles! Also went for a hammam in the spa which was so nice. One small point to be mindful of - the riad isn’t licensed to serve alcohol so if you bring in drinks, you can only drink them in your room rather than on the rooftop or courtyard. Not a huge issue at all though, and better for our health! Thank you so much - we hope to come back one day!

“It was OK.”
+The location was very good.
−The dirty unswept alleyway with tins of cat food and bins. No welcoming lights at the door at night or any pretty pot plants, very scruffy not what I’d expect from a 4* property. We arrived and sat on a dirty white sofa which had foot prints on it whilst we filled in our paperwork. We’d been collected from outside El Bacha and our bags were loaded onto a cart which was not the riad’s cart. We were then expected to pay the cart man when we could easily have taken the bags ourselves OR the hotel concierge could have paid him which is what we’d been used to at other properties there. We were told not to drink the tap water (obviously) but two bottles of water were provided in unsealed bottles with loose lids on which made us nervous. There was no lock on the door. We had to request a lock and were given a padlock so we could lock our room when we were out. The toiletries were far beneath anything 4*. Refilled dirty plastic pumps by the sink. The staff were very nice and keen to show us the new part of the Riad. Everything in the old part where we were staying definitely needed an upgrade, repaint and a good designer to pick some nice Moroccan pieces to make it more comfortable and hom

+The location was perfect, everyone was very helpful. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hamam was under refurb, and the wifi had some connection issues, the breakfast was simple however overall experience was very nice, would recommend.

+Stunning riad, amazing location but the staff were wonderful. We arrived late and they were so helpful and welcoming. They made us feel like it was a home and not just a hotel. Also really helpful throughout the whole trip! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Marrakech

“A beautiful, peaceful oasis in the medina with exceptional hospitality and wonderful staff.”
+We had a wonderful stay at Riad Jaaneman. The staff, especially Lahcen were incredibly helpful and attentive. Upon arrival, Lahcen gave us great advice on where to go and what to avoid and was always available to answer our questions. The rooms are spotless and feature beautiful, unique decor. A lovely homemade breakfast was served each morning in a peaceful setting. The riad is in a great location within the medina, just a short walk from Bacha Coffee, yet it remains a perfectly tranquil haven from the hustle and bustle outside. We really recommend Riad Jaaneman, wonderful hospitality and a truly relaxing place to stay.

+ריאד מקסים מלא בסטייל נקי ויפה, מיטה נוחה וצוות מהמם. ממוקם מאד קרוב לצומת מרכזית שאפשר להגיע אליה ברכב וזה מאד מקל על הכניסה והיציאה . רחוב מקסים וקרוב לכמה מהאתרים המומלצים .
−בסמטה שממנה נכנסים לריאד ממוקמים פחים גדולים שלפעמים יש מהם ריח לא נעים , זה לא מורגש בפנים .
