+Loved how close we were to the main square! Ishmael and the cleaning lady (sorry forgot her name) made us feel very welcome our whole stay! Nothing was a problem! Giving us great recommendations. Thank you so much for having us for 4 nights, we had the best time for our first stay in marrakech and absolutely loved our breakfast setup for the 6 of us! We felt very well looked after! Would definitely recommend this riad, such a lovely little place and wonderful staff!

“Wonderful Riad”
+We absolutely loved our stay at this Riad. Everything was just like the photos and it certainly is value for money. Our Sultana room was gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. The rooftop is lovely and the breakfast served was great. The location is perfect. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is ever a bother. Ismail was incredible to us and his help and conversation really made our Marrakesh stay unforgettable. The owners of this Riad are so very lucky to have him and I’m sure he leaves an amazing and positive impression on all guests. We were certainly sad to say goodbye . If we ever return to Marrakesh, we would most definitely stay here again.

“A beautiful riad with excellent service, warm Moroccan hospitality, and an unforgettable experience of Ismail’s extraord”
+The riad is beautiful, charming, cozy, and spotlessly clean, with an excellent location close to everything. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were greeted with traditional Moroccan mint tea and biscuits, and they kindly helped us with our luggage upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious, and since we had to leave before the 8 a.m. breakfast service, they thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. Above all, we would like to highlight Ismail’s exceptional honesty, kindness, and generosity. After I accidentally left my AirPod in the room, he went far beyond what we could have expected to help us get it back. He arranged for it to be sent to Fez, where we were staying, and even paid the shipping costs in advance, trusting us to reimburse him later. Thanks to his extraordinary efforts, we received our package safely. Ismail’s attitude is a true example of integrity and outstanding hospitality. We are deeply grateful for everything he did for us. We wholeheartedly recommend this riad, not only for its beautiful accommodation and excellent service but especially for the wonderful people who make guests feel genuinely cared for.

“Great location and feels like coming home!”
+Incredibly friendly and accommodating owner who was eager to help us however he could! Close to a lovely part of the souks - very central but still feels tucked away from the chaos. We stayed in 3x riads total, and the room here was our favourite. Clean, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. Generous breakfast included too. Felt really relaxed our entire stay and would definitely come again.

“Fantastic stay!”
+We had a great stay at Riad El Maktoub. The location is excellent, making it very straightforward to get around and explore. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. Breakfast each morning was very good,fresh, generous, and delicious. The service throughout our stay was top-tier. Ismail was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and reliable. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommended.

“Highly recommend”
+We had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend it. The only difficult part was finding the riad for the first time. Google Maps can be confusing in the narrow streets. On our way, a man insisted on “guiding” us even after we repeatedly declined his help, and then demanded €20 when we arrived. So I would recommend contacting the riad directly for directions rather than accepting help from people on the street. Apart from that, our experience was wonderful. The manager, Ismail, is an absolute gem. He gave me his number and told us to message him anytime if we needed help, and he guided us with everything during our stay. The breakfasts were amazing, and the cute little pool was such a relief in the 42°C heat! The lady who looked after the cleaning was also incredibly sweet, always smiling and offering us mint tea whenever she saw us. The riad itself is beautiful, welcoming and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. A genuinely lovely experience and a place we would happily recommend!

“Midden in de medina met een super host”
+Locatie midden in de medina, rustgevend en goed ontbijt. Host Ismail vertelde alles wat je moest weten en zien. Je kon hem altijd een bericht sturen en hij reageert direct. Hij maakte zelfs een reservering voor je als je dat vraagt. Super vriendelijk en absoluut een aanrader.

+Cet établissement est pour le peu fantastique, très beau, très bien placé et avec un personnel d’exception ! Un grand merci à Ismaël pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité ! Proximité avec les plus grandes attractions de la ville !
