+Fantastic location! Super lady and man that run this place. It was great talking to them even though my french is weak. I still enjoyed talking to the lady and guy [sorry I forgot their names]. The lady gave great advice on trips and restaurants. I did 3 day trips out of this hotel using my guide and one private guide. All 3 worked great. 3min walk to gate to get the trip. Upon walking out of the hotel...there are lots of food stalls. My favorite was the small pastry one...so good. I had pateries everyday. They had french like pastries...very small cart where they sold. Only 5 DM for one...but so good. Also I ate lots of the fruits from the stalls...so good. And the shop keepers were honest with their pricing. Also I went to the AL quina...as the sufi fest was happening and watched the concert. Only 1km walk away. Super experience Do not stay in your room....Rock Fez do something different each day. Its a safe and enjoyable place. Shukran shukran thank you thank you to the host lady and man.

“An absolutely magnificent stay with world-class hospitality that made us feel completely safe and ca”
+Absolute perfection! Our stay at this riad was completely unforgettable, purely because of the world-class staff. Houda had only just started her role on in October, but her hospitality, kindness, and professionalism felt like someone with years of experience. She went completely above and beyond to protect our budget. When I wanted to buy traditional colorful tea glasses, she personally sent Hicham into the complex Medina markets with me to make sure I didn't get hit with tourist prices. Hicham was absolutely brilliant at haggling the price face-to-face with the shopkeeper, and Houda stayed actively live on the phone with us at the exact same time, fighting to drive the price down even lower! They completely shielded us from tourist scams. Loubna was also marvelous, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. They are a magnificent team, and the owners should be so proud of them. Clean rooms, amazing service, and a beautiful experience near the Blue Gate. Thank you, Houda, Hicham, and Loubna

+The host Alami was very alert and hospitable. Next morning he came up with an Electric Kettle. Breakfast is simple and sufficient.He is always communicative in WhatsApp.He also arranged 2 trips and 3 days FES to MARRAKESH desert trip.

−There's an egg in the first 2 mornings for breakfast. When I asked both a cup of coffee and a cup of tea in the second morning, there's no egg in the third morning.

“Like in home”
+We stayed at the riad from Tuesday to Saturday and the experience was excellent. Alime treated us exceptionally well at all times. The room was very clean and comfortable. It has double windows; at night you can hear a bit more of the medina, but once both are closed there is no problem. The bathroom is small compared to what we are used to, but this is completely normal as the riad is located in the old part inside the medina. The location of the riad is perfect for getting around Fez. Breakfast was delicious and very complete; we always ended up feeling full. Alime helped us with everything we needed, welcomed us with tea on arrival, and when we had very early tours she prepared water with fruit for us. We felt at home during the whole stay. We highly recommend it. If we return to Fez, we will definitely stay here again.

+La situation dans la Medina près de la porte bleue
−Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivée, avec un accueil chaleureux et agréable par Halimi Malheureusement, la gérance a changé en cours de séjour et nous avons constaté une nette différence dans la qualité de l’accueil. Nous nous sommes sentis beaucoup moins bien accompagnés, voire un peu isolés, et l’expérience a été bien moins agréable par la suite. C’est vraiment dommage, car le début du séjour était très prometteur. Nous en gardons donc un avis mitigé malgré un très bon accueil au départ.
