“Riad Dar Karam is an amazingly authentic living experience in the Medina amazing for solo travelers and couples.”
+I absolutely loved the amazing hospitality from Nadia. I was immediately greeted at the Riad and I absolutely loved the daily breakfast. Unfortunately, I fell sick during my trip however, Nadia provided amazing lemon ginger tea and Moroccan tea to help with my illness.

“A great stay with a lovely host”
+If you want an authentic local experience in a traditional riad (bed & breakfast) then Karam is perfect. Nadia is a great host. Helped by her daughter, she runs the two guest rooms on the first floor of their home. The building is peaceful and quiet, but well located among the chaos of the medina. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It varied every day, allowing us to sample a variety of local breads, omelette and tagine. Nadia was attentive to dietary requirements and preferences. She even went out of her way to make special arrangements when she heard it was my birthday. The WiFi was recently upgraded so previous reviews about that can be ignored. Two things to note: if using Google maps, there are multiple "Riad dar Karam" in the medina, this is the one on Derb Zenboueh. Also, Nadia doesn't speak English but does speak clear and patient french (even with our broken french it was easy to communicate).
−Nothing really. It's an old building so the room is hard to ventilate and you can sometimes hear noise from other rooms, but for us this is part of the charm of staying somewhere traditional.

“Beautiful place and welcoming people.”
+Good location, it was close to many markets and restaurants. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. Rooms were nice and spacious, overall a beautiful place to stay.

+la struttura è accogliente, semplice e pulita. il letto è comodo e il terrazzo è molto carino per farci colazioni o cene.
−l’unica pecca è che nella stanza c’è un odore abbastanza forte di umidità, si sente quando rientri dopo aver passato la giornata fuori, quindi bisogna fare circolare l’aria.

+Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero bellissimo! La proprietaria del Riad è una persona squisita, estremamente gentile, accogliente e ospitale. Si impegna davvero al massimo per far sentire i suoi ospiti a casa e fare in modo che il soggiorno sia il più piacevole possibile, sempre con grande attenzione e premura. La colazione è deliziosa e preparata con cura. Il Riad si trova in una posizione strategica, nel cuore della Medina, perfetta per raggiungere comodamente a piedi le principali attrazioni di Marrakech. Nonostante la posizione centrale, all’interno del Riad regna una tranquillità meravigliosa, un vero valore aggiunto nel vivace e caotico cuore della Medina. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica e sentirsi accolto con calore e gentilezza.

“Riad a connaitre sans modération”
+Sa proximité du centre ville, tout en étant dans le calme. Un accueil simple mais très amical. Le riad est propre et très bien aménagé. Les chambres sont grandes avec climatisation et avec une sensation d'être comme chez soi ! Un grand merci au propriétaire des lieux.!

+Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits au Riad Dar Karam, il est bien situé, on peut aller sur la place principale Jeema el-Fna en parcourant les souks à une quinzaine de minutes à pied. C'est un petit Riad calme et joliment décoré. La terrasse est un plus surtout au petit matin avec le calme et les oiseaux! Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres avec une odeur agréable d'encens. Le Riad est fidèle aux photos. Les propriétaires, Nadia et Phil, sont très gentils et ouverts, ils vous donnent volontiers de leur temps pour des échanges, des conseils pour des sorties et sont aussi respectueux des moments de liberté de leurs hôtes au sein de leur Riad. Merci à Nadia qui a été adorable et nous a permis d'avoir un petit déjeuner varié et délicieux tout notre séjour et nous a même gentiment préparé des collations pleines de vitamines pour nos excursions! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans leur établissement, on recommande !
