10.0“Perfect tranquil base!”
+Our stay at the riad was exactly what we were looking for. It was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect base to explore. Nothing was too much for the staff, they helped in anyway they could. Even when we got lost wandering the souks trying to find somewhere to change our money! The main man (as we called him) was available on WhatsApp and responds quick. The room was a good size and very traditional looking (no kettle or tv). Rooms were maintained throughout our stay and the staff really were the best. I would say..... Get yourself an e-sim. Without data you are guaranteed to get lost trying to find your way back to the riad. Would definitely stay again.

10.0“All the cool and calm you need.”
+This Riad is all you need for an excellent stay and the main key to your visit is Ouzman, he is everything you need to complete your stay, pleasant and knowledgeable what he doesn’t know about. Marrakesh isn’t worth knowing. The Riad is comfortable with all the basics covered in full, pleasant restaurants nearby for excellent food and service (just ask Ouzman). After a day of insanity in the Souq or the opulence of a palace, this place calms you down with it cool interiors and relaxing bird song (all free flying). Thanks to all the staff who helped make our stay memorable for all the right reasons.

10.0“Characterful riad in a great location”
+We spent a week here and had a very enjoyable time, the riad is full of wonderful features, including in our spacious room. We hadn't booked breakfast but had it every day as it was plentiful, tasty and good value. The weather was slightly cool, but we used the rooftop terrace several times and had a short dip in the pool. The location was excellent, near the souks and several restaurants, but once inside it is quiet and restful. Ousamma was very friendly and helpful, especially when TUI gave us no info on our return transfer, the other staff were also lovely. One tip: the rooms can be quite light at night from the various courtyards, so if you are a light sleeper take an eye mask.

10.0“Amazing 10/10 5*”
+Wow wow WOW!! Absolute gem of a Riad. Our first time here in Marrakech and Oussama - the owner could not have done it any better! Beautiful surroundings, comfy beds, extra blankets and delicious home made food. Super local to all the souks and places of interest. Great experience in a great place. Thanks for a lovely restful and exciting stay. Highly recommend it all.

10.0“Paradise defined by the Riad Dar Bounour”
+A utter joy to discover the welcoming, relaxed and banana-tree containing gem of a Road, snack bang in the heart of marvelous Marrakech. If you go to Marrakech and don't stay or pop in for a spa and swim then have you really actually been to Marrakech. Bisous à Tous, Christian, à la procaine fois

10.0“Marrakesh city break”
+Riad is in a great location in the old Mdina, a short walk from the main square and all the bazar and shopping stalls. But what is special about this place is the people who run the Riad. They are super friendly and helpful, no request is too much.

10.0“Boom this Riad for a more authentic experience”
+Just returned home from a 5 night stay here. I booked this based on two things, the location and the reviews on Trip Advisor. I wanted to experience life in the heart of the Medina to soak up the atmosphere. I did not want a 40 minute taxi ride from a 5 star modern hotel on the outskirts. From here you could easily walk to the square, souks and restaurants. You cannot get cars into the middle but we easily arranged a meeting point to catch tourist buses for trips. The Riad has a fascinating history and charm. The staff were very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. It is so quiet there. You can’t hear the hustle and bustle in the nearby streets at all. It is very clean, towels replaced, room cleaned unless you didn’t want it to be. There was a plentiful breakfast to set you up for the day. Of course this review would not be complete without mentioning the manager, Ousamma. He really is nice guy who will help you with anything. It was nice to put a face to the name I had read so much about. So if you want a more authentic experience I would highly recommend this hotel.

10.0“Perfect holiday”
+I have just returned from a fantastic trip with my wife and son from Marrakesh. What made it special was staying at Riad Dar Banour. We had the pleasure of meeting the English speaking manager Osama. From the minute we walked in everything we asked for was immediately sorted. Osama is the star of the show and probably the nicest man in Morocco. Through Osama we were introduced to Mohammed Kiwi( Kiwi tours) who arranged the most amazing excursions which included a hot air balloon ride and trip to Ourlika valley! Can’t wait to return in the new year! Thank you Osama and Mohammed Kiwi for making our holiday perfect.
