“Not the best Residence Inn”
+Sorry Marriott, this one needs your attention. As Bonvoy members we stay in Residence Inns all the time and almost always have a good experience. Won't stay at the Eugene property again because: 1) They charged $75 pet fee.....more than we've ever paid anywhere, 2) They charge $10 for parking while they have a huge parking area that wasn't even full, 3) The breakfast was sad & tired to say the LEAST. At 9am there was 1 little yogurt left, stale breads, bad scrambled eggs, etc. We walked out and found a coffee shop (Farmers Union - excellent!), 4) The fridge in our room had not been cleaned out. There was still old food in it from the previous guest. This hotel badly needs a refresh/update. The one positive: the staff was friendly.
