“For the amount I paid could have stayed on a better hotel with in range of plazas etc”
+Basically its quiet and walking to plazas and other places is not too far. Good wifi , someone was in contact thru message service since there was no front Desk personnel for Saturday and Sunday
−No front desk service Saturday / Sunday. Check out is 10am pretty early. Elevator to hotel is very small, no help with luggage

“An amazing location and a host who cares”
+We chose Relais Virgilio for its location and it was even better than expected - a quiet, safe neighbourhood within walking distance of most of Rome's key sites e.g. Piazza Navona, St Peter's. Communication was fantastic in advance and during our stay, with really clear directions and entry instructions. The host was delightful and very helpful. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. In terms of amenities and facilities, we had everything we needed e.g. it was great to have a small fridge in the room. Just around the corner there is an excellent cafe-bakery for breakfast or a snack of cake and pizza, and there is also a small supermarket just a minute away.

“Great value and location!”
+What a great location! Walkable to so many little cafes, shops. 15 minutes to the Vatican, 15 to the Collossium. It was very clean, we only saw the gal at check in for a few minutes, then did not see any other staff on site for the remainer of our trip. (but they were reachable by WhatsApp) our stay.
−When we first got out of cab I was a bit worried about the neighborhoood (lots of graffiti, closed buildings): BUT as the days went on we loved the location and would definately come back. The shower in our room was tiny, but overall room was very comfortable.

“Fijne kamer, heel centraal.”
