“One night was fine but wouldnt want to stay much longer.”
+The bed was clean and comfortable, however, the room itself could have been cleaner. The room was cold and the water for the shower was tepid at best.

“Disappointing experience regarding duplicate payment and refund”
−Disappointing experience regarding duplicate payment and refund During the booking process, I accidentally pressed the payment button twice because Booking.com application was not respondin/frozen. As a result, the hotel charged me twice for the same night/stay. I reported the issue to Booking.com and also spoke directly with the hotel reception. I was told that the duplicate payment would be refunded. However, despite this assurance, I still have not received the refund. I also requested an invoice for my stay, but the hotel has not provided the invoice either. The stay itself is not the main issue; my disappointment is with how the payment problem has been handled afterwards. Being charged twice, being promised a refund and then not receiving it, as well as not receiving an invoice despite requesting one, has made this a very frustrating experience. I hope the hotel resolves the outstanding refund and provides the requested invoice as soon as possible.

+Run bye a good manager from start to finish he was very helpful in sorting a issue with the TV but was resolved very quickly and fast the reception staff do make you feel welcome on arrival and process is very smooth from start to finish the hotel is under going a renovation to be fair the front reception is all new looks really good I know once the rooms have been renovated the hotel will look awesome I think the review I am leaving today is fair as I do love too see the old character decore I hope other people relies that too when they leave a review ☺️💯
−To be fair leaving a review in this comment the hotel is being refurbished at present so I did have the odd issue with TV had signal issues but that was down to the ongoing works the hotel is currently going through ☺️

−Possibly the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. I genuinely cannot understand how this room is considered acceptable to sell to paying guests, particularly a family with two small children. The room was absolutely filthy. The duvet was old and dirty, the duvet cover was stained and ripped, the bath was caked in dirt, the skirting boards were filthy with what appeared to be mould, and there were cut, soiled strips of carpet directly in front of the toilet and beside the bed. Even more concerning were mirrors/fittings lifting away from the walls with exposed screws sticking out , one actually caught my arm. This went beyond a hotel simply being “tired”; parts of the room felt genuinely unsafe. The whole place desperately needs cleaning, maintenance and refurbishment. Even the reception area was dirty. Check-in was incredibly difficult as nobody was at reception, and staff had already been rude and unhelpful when I called beforehand. The overall condition and atmosphere of the place was so grim that it gave us the impression of the sort of room being rented by the hour rather than somewhere intended for families or ordinary hotel guests.
