“Still a nice stay.”
+Our room was right off the elevator.
−The ice machine did not work, and almost every time you flush the toilet, my husband had to open the top to fix it.

+It was very quiet and clean and very comfortable there and they had a nice assortment of food for the breakfast which was cool I'm very glad that we stayed there
−When I originally booked it said on booking.com that there was beach access in walking distance that was a lie

“Outdated hotel was a let down.”
+Fair price, but a number of amenities you’d typically expect just didn’t function as desired. For example, TV didn’t work half the time as Direct TV connection was down, hot tub shown on TripAdvisor pictures had long-since been removed, refrigerator barely cooled, walked to 6 ice machines before finding one that worked, family suite with capacity for 6 only had 3 towels. Overall the hotel felt dated, and not the most safe. Window locks had been removed so that windows could open fully and half of the rooms faced a pointed iron gate so a child falling from an open window would likely face a catastrophic outcome.

“Trying Hard but More Work to be Done!”
+Some things at this hotel are great and others, not so good. Rooms have been nicely remodeled, except for the ceiling in the bathroom that has damaged ceiling tiles. Bad smell of "old hotel". Otherwise the rooms are spacious and linens are fresh. We were traveling with a tour and our dinner and breakfast was catered by the hotel. It was fabulous!! Some of the best food I've eaten!
