“Superb location and great host”
+Absolutely spectacular location and spacious house with nice terrace. Also, the host was super helpful with organising everything from transport to tours. Homemade food was a nice addition.

“Quiet paradise getaway”
+Serene, quiet and beautiful. You can relax and unwind as monkeys jump fr tree to tree, you can relax with your feet in the clean river as fish swim by and the pool is perfect to dip in to cool down. Easy access to Sinharaja and the host goes out of his way to make you welcome. He helped with bags and also prepared some amazing food for breakfast/ dinner. A truly wonderful place to stay to relax and unwind.

“Fabulous, magical place to stay.”
+We loved our stay at Rainforest Cabin! It was full of pleasure and adventure! Ravindra is the perfect host and his mother’s home-made meals are delicious and plentiful! Ravindra arranged our guide in the Singahara Park, who showed us the special flora and fauna of the rainforest and guided us to a divine waterfall where we had a refreshing swim. Ravindra then took us on a night walk through the local forest. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It even has a mini fridge with beers and treats! The highlight of our stay was a swim in the quiet river just below the cabin…delightful. Thank you Ravindra for a lovely stay!
−The cabin is in the rainforest, so there is a lot of ‘nature’…bugs etc. If that’s not your thing…

+The location is very beautiful and peaceful. We especially loved walking down to the nearby river to swim . Delicious food and warm welcome
−Nothing to dislike The guide that was recommended to us for the rainforest walk was very nice . We missed more info about the plants and ecosystem. And it was suprisly expensive tho we enjoyed

“Rainforest immersion”
+What a unique experience. I stayed in the Family Room with Garden View and I felt completely immersed in the rainforest there. It was raining when I was there and it felt really cozy. The host, Ravindra, was kind, welcoming and very helpful. He organized for an amazing female guide for me in Sinharaja, as well as transport there and to my next destination. His mother cooked delicious dinners and breakfasts, and even a packed lunch for my day trip. The pool was a great bonus - I had a much-needed fresh dip following my hike.
−The house is pretty remote and I imagine wouldn't be accessible to all. The last section requires crossing two rivers either on foot (10 minute walk) or on a motorbike (driven by Ravindra).

“Tolle Aussicht, abenterliche Lage”
+Tolle Lage inmitten von Teeplantagen mit einer Wahnsinns-Aussicht und abends Glühwürmchen-Wonderland. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker. Im nahegelegenen Rainforest kann man jede Menge abenteuerliche Tiere sehen: Spinnen, Schlangen, Hundert- und Tausendfüßler und sehr viele Blutegel. Der Zugang zur Unterkunft: man muss durch zwei Flüsse durch. Das sollte man wissen. Auch die Straße ist am Ende eher schlecht.

“Fantasche accommodatie op een magische plek!”
+Een super gave accommodatie op een fantastische locatie, omringd door theeplantages. Heel rustig gelegen, prachtige omgeving, je ziet de apen en vuurvliegjes vanaf je terras. Je moet 2 kleine riviertjes oversteken, maar je wordt met een tuk tuk opehaald en ze nemen je bagage op de brommer voor je mee de rivier over. Zowel het ontbijt, lunch als het avondeten is heerlijk.
