+The room is comfortable
−Having been to many hostels, I have never experienced hostel staff which showed behaviour like this. We didn’t want to give our passport as deposit, and after that, the staff became very unfriendly. They joked behind our back in Spanish, which we could understand, and they gave us a very uncomfortable feeling. Next to that, I have never had trouble with laundry service, but at this hostel, some of my clothes got burned in the laundry. I think this hostel is nice if you want a party hostel, but otherwise I would stay away.

“Understand what you are signing up for”
+The room is large and includes a private plunge pool that we didn't use. It is located far enough away from the Wet Wednesday party you don't hear the noise. Filtered water and fridge provide in the room. A/C is ok.
−On arrival we were "greeted" by a very stand-offish lady who told us we could not check in yet and then refused to serve us food until after 3pm because preparations for wet Wednesday were underway. This was despite them advertising that they serve food all day. The local area lacked options that were open in the afternoon and when we did get food in the evening they didn't seem to take dietary requirements very seriously. We were shown to our room where we discovered a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom (this wasn't damp jungle accommodation, this was a clear issue with the plumbing). The cabin itself is poorly constructed for the environment it sits in. There are huge gaps between the doors and floors, which results in an inevitable bug infestation. This could be resolved with some rubber door seals. Only stay here if you are comfortable with huge spiders, cockroaches and lizards in your sleeping space. The offer of staff removing creatures doesn't feel legitimate, especially on a busy Wednesday night. It's worth noting this cabin is isolated from the rest of the rooms and there is a lot of hostel signage and online information about break-ins to this type of accommodation

“Worth staying on a Wet Wednesday, absolutely wonderful experience.”
+Well surrounded by nature, the place is very clean and comfortable, the Wet Wednesday is definitely a vibe to experience with the Fire Show, absolutely loved it!
−It is a "party island" so don't expect to go to bed at 10pm while listening to nature, the crowd is quite young but everyone get along very well and everyone is nice & welcoming.

+Quite a nice place. Bit of a party hostel if that’s your vibe. Dorm pods were actually very decent. Special thanks to Nora for giving me a lift all the way across the island, was very much appreciated!

+No bugs in the rooms! A personal little fan for each bed:) Nice restaurant with good breakfast and good pizza!
−There was a bunch of wasps and small flies around the common area, which could be a bit annoying at times. Would also have been a plus if they had a kitchen! bur restaurant was good, and not too expensive so it was fine for a couple of days!

“Incroyable séjour, j'aurai pu y rester des semaines !”
+J'ai adoré mon séjour ici ! Les chambres sont spacieuses avec ventilateur personnel, prises et lockers ! La piscine et les espaces communs sont conviviaux et dans un cadre naturel. L'endroit est maintenu propre avec un service de restaurant et bar non excessif au niveau des prix. Un gros merci au personnel adorable, qui a organisé des tournois et soirées à notre demande (big up à Fausto) !
−Le parking pourrait être amélioré (bétonné) pour plus de sécurité

−Die Pool Party mit der geworben wird ist nur einmal die Woche sonst ist da nichts los für ein Social Hostel hatte ich mehr erwartet. Kaum Community activities und generell eine sehr spannende Atmosphäre würde ich sagen. Bei uns im bad im Zimmer Bad hang ein Schild mit so einem Infoschild das kein Spaß zu sein schien „feel free to piss outside on any tree you like“. Und für ein Hostel in Nicaragua war es doch eher teuer. Essen an der Bar war allerdings sehr gut.
