+Thank you so much to the whole team at Rainbow Lodge. What a special experience and a real giggle. The food was absolutely delicious and Gee and Phearom made us feel so welcome, safe and well looked after. A real highlight of our trip for me and my teenage boys.
−Not service related but brace for the humidity. You need to take closed toe shoes to trek around the property and they will get wet so take a spare pair.

“Amazing escape in nature - an incredible experience.”
+The amazing natural environment and effort placed by rainbow lodge into conservation when many of the neighbouring resorts have chopped down their rainforest. The amazing staff. Tracking 4 families of gibbons through the hills deep in the rainforest. Entire stay was awesome.

“Loved the place and that all meals are included and its isolated (almost) The birds and greenery.”
+All meals are included and that was the best part as it is away from anywhere and you cant just go out to eat. The staff are all very nice. The hiking tours and the waterfall and the location for those who love the outdoors and peace and quite, this is your place. After traveling through Cambodia in a car for any days, this was a treat and you feel like you are in an entirely different world, you move at your on pace relax or hike or swim in the river. Perfect.

“Enjoyable stay in the jungle at a well run eco lodge”
+Rainbow Lodge is a really special place. The entire experience felt thoughtfully designed, from the peaceful setting to the well-run and genuinely enjoyable excursions. We did the long trek and Mangroves tour, both of which included beautiful landscapes, great pacing and lots of interesting insights along the way. The surrounding nature is incredible, we even saw an owl on our first night! The staff also deserve a special mention as Gee and Pirom are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. The food was another highlight - delicious and generous portions. I’d definitely recommend Rainbow Lodge to anyone looking to explore this part of Cambodia. “Eco location in the jungle, do your own research”
+Not for us
−No bottled water, just filtered rain water, bad fitting window mosquito grills, ants everywhere and expensive as you are caught once you arrive at this location by boat in the jungle. No hot water and rooms are not cleaned daily as this would help deal with the Infestation of insects. Clean towels can be requested along with an additional toilet roll which will probably be required. Unless you are physically fit enough to walk through the jungle or kayak down the river, there is little else to do and the boat trips down the river are expensive. The packed lunches were warm when they should chilled, and evening food was not hot enough.

+It is as expected a eco-lodge that needs a little bit of attention From the moment you arrive by a short boat ride you are welcomed with the friendliness staff. The drink and cool towel were very much appreciated. Immediately your holiday pace goes into low gear and are encouraged to take the environment and its sounds in. Whilst the rooms are what you expect at this rating (be prepared to be awaken by cold shower) the attentiveness’s of the staff is exceptional and nothing is a bother. The food and variety is divine and is most enjoyable in the commune area. Highly recommend taking kayaks out to the waterfall. We really enjoyed and would highly recommend.
+Wunderbare Lodge etwas oberhalb des Flusses mitten im grünen Dschungel gelegen. Stylisches stimmungsvolles Ambiente auf der Terrasse umgeben von grünen „Wänden“. Im Fluss kann man baden. Vollpension mit Wahlmöglichkeit, exzellente Küche: Zutaten frisch von lokalen Märkten. Keine Plastikflaschen oder -Strohhalme, Energie alles auf Solarpower. Unser Bungalow war großzügig und frisch renoviert. Supernettes engagiertes Managementteam british-khmer. Exzellente Führung durch Pi Proom. Die profunde Kenntnis der Beiden zur Natur und Wildlife ist beeindruckend, ebenso ihr Einsatz für den Erhalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt nur wärmstens empfehlen. Mindestens zwei volle Tage einplanen, besser drei, weil so viele Möglichkeiten bestehen.
