“A warm and kind host, but the room and overall condition of the property do not match what pilgrims”
+The owner is a genuinely kind and welcoming host. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and even offered to drive us to San Roquiño for dinner, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated after a long stage over the Serra da Labruja. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, which is what matters most on the Camino. The bathroom is modern and in good condition. The location works well if you are breaking the stage after the climb.
−The room itself was disappointing. It is dark, faces an interior courtyard, and while the antique furniture has character, there is almost nowhere to put your belongings , no usable surfaces, no proper storage. Cleanliness was the main issue: the floor had visible hair, dust and debris on arrival. Sound insulation between rooms is essentially non-existent. We could hear everything from the neighbouring room, so if you happen to have guests with small children next door, expect a difficult night. The outdoor seating area is very basic , plastic chairs under a homemade shelter. Some may find this charming; it did not feel like a place to relax and unwind. Also worth noting for other pilgrims: the host does not speak English, so communication requires patience or a translation app.

+Absolute peace and quiet, beautiful views, plenty of space to wander around. You feel like you’re in a little bit of rural history and the host makes you feel at home.
−The three beds room was dark but the other bedrooms have a great view and have light.

+La estancia fue excelente. Es un lugar tranquilo, muy agradable y perfecto para descansar. Antonio, el dueño, es muy atento y amable. Destacaría especialmente el desayuno, delicioso, y la tranquilidad del lugar. Sin duda, un sitio para repetir y totalmente recomendable..

“Casa rurale d’altri tempi”
+Bellissima casa di campagna in pietra legno e mobili d’epoca. Il sig. Antonio è molto affabile e gentile. Si trova un po’ fuori dal cammino portoghese ma il proprietario si è prestato a riportarci il mattino seguente all’imbocco del cammino per evitarci una ripida salita. Grazie. Colazione perfetta.

+Em excelente relação qualidade preço, o Sr António (anfitrião) é muito simpático e atencioso, o alojamento tem todas as comodidades necessárias e bom pequeno-almoço. Fiquei instalado neste alojamento porque ao festival de Paredes de Coura e foi um excelente alojamento para pernoitar durante o festival.
