“A place to remember and revisit!”
+Great location for the restaurants, the coast and the old city area. Fantastic breakfast and very lovely ambience! Hosts were helpful and friendly!
−Not much to dislike! Maybe slightly more bedside surface area would be good? ( But nitpicking really!)

“Simply outstanding!”
+The house and pool was open to us to use at our leisure. A beautifully presented home. Our hosts were attentive, welcoming, helpful and truly delighted in sharing their home with us. Honesty fridge for drinks. There was free tea, coffee and water. Excellent breakfast presented to a high standard. Quinta B provides the touches that make an outstanding boutique hotel.

“A luxurious stay in a perfect location.”
+The location was perfect. Just a short, steep walk down to the old town. The room was spacious with beautiful furnishings, and the bathroom was excellent too, with a large walk-in shower. We enjoyed our walk through the lush gardens to breakfast every morning. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. Heike provides delicious food from all over the island and mainland Portugal and describes it to you in attentive detail. It was always a pleasure to taste the food. The pool was also an enjoyable way to cool down each afternoon - an extra bonus to staying here.

“An immaculate and welcoming boutique hotel.”
+Our hosts gave us a very warm welcome which continued throughout our stay and we very much appreciated being able to arrive well before the normal check in time to fit in with our previous accommodation. An immaculate and thoughtfully presented B&B. Every detail had been thought about and there was a peaceful feel as soon as you stepped through the gates. The views over the sea and the harbour were amazing and were especially enjoyed over breakfast on the balcony. Breakfast was exceptional with freshly prepared food and a choice of hot food each day.
−The steps up to the hotel were steep and might prove a problem for less agile people but steep slopes are to be expected anywhere in Funchal!

+Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir wurden direkt von Heike begrüßt und es wurde sogar möglich gemacht, dass wir früher als erwartet einchecken durften! Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber! Zudem haben wir von Heike tolle Tipps für unsere Planungen bekommen. Dadurch, dass es nur 4 Zimmer gibt, fühlte es sich schön familiär, auch mit den anderen Gästen, an. Danke!
