−They advertise a Pool and hot tub, there is none. You can see where the pool used to be and there is like linoleum flooring covering it up. You are not told there is no pool and if you look at the photos and such online it still says there is a pool when you can clearly tell it hasn't been there for quite some time. When my boyfriend and I started using the jacuzzi in the room, there were bugs, like literal insects floating in the water. We pulled I would say 3-5 out of the water. You couldn't really understand the staff when you called to ask a question.

“Modern room”
+Really liked that there is linoleum in the rooms instead of carpet. Staff was very friendly. I forgot my shampoo at home and they actually had big bottles od shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom not those little bottles. I thought the shampoo was a decent quality. Very good water pressure. Very close to stores and restaurants. The shades on the windows were very nice also instead of curtains. There are 2 shades..one for room darkening and the other is opaque. Really made the room look nicer and not dingy. It was perfect. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Bemidji to see my grandson at college.

+Bed was comfortable and I liked having a table and chairs in the room
−Need desperately to fix the drive to the hotel. It’s pothole after pothole. Door to our room was basically broken and had to pull hard to get it open making a loud noise each time. All Websites I looked at said there was a pool. Signs in hall had pool but were covered with white paper. Hotel personnel said there was no pool and that I was mistaken about seeing it on the website but it’s still there. Then, behind a door that says laundry, I found the pool, empty with junk in it. It would have been more considerate to just tell me - sorry, our pool is no longer functioning rather than lie to me.

“Good place...needs a bit of improvement in the breakfast are”
+You could tell that they had freshly painted the walls and the flooring throughout the first floor in bedroom , slash bathroom were very much updated , which was nice. The access road to the hotel goes through other lots and have a lot of potholes that should be repaired.But that really isn't their issue. The breakfast was okay, but they're very lax in cleaning up after people leave. All 3 mornings you could tell that people had left and the chairs weren't pushed in the tables weren't wiped the food on the floor wasn't picked up.And even the counter top were , people made the waffles or sprinkled salt on things was all over. And the person at the desk was right there , but never came over to clean up. If they clean that up , I think it would be a great place in economical to stay

−The building was in in very poor shape and looked nothing like what was portrayed online. There was a State Trooper parked out front when we pulled up with our children to check in. There were men loitering outside on benches and a large old van that had been pulled over by the police in front of the main door. The man driving it was clearly having trouble parking and ran over the curb. Fixtures were old and broken, the card key stopped working on our room door as we were trying to bring things in. There were weird bugs in the room and paint chipping off several areas on the walls. Window was open in the hallway. Another family who stayed there said a bird was trapped indoors as well. The children felt unsafe and we left within an hour. We want our money back since we had to leave and find a different hotel room.
