−had a very disappointing experience at Pullman Phu Quoc that seriously affected our stay. Yesterday evening, I walked into the hotel with my girlfriend when a staff member named Kiet made a comment in Vietnamese about my girlfriend being fat\. As I am Vietnamese myself and understand the Vietnamese language, I clearly understood what was said. This was not a misunderstanding based on a language barrier. I found the comment extremely inappropriate, disrespectful, and unacceptable, especially in a hotel that is supposed to provide guests with a welcoming and respectful environment. The comment deeply hurt my girlfriend, and she spent the entire night crying because of what happened. I raised this issue with the hotel staff multiple times, hoping that the situation would be taken seriously and handled with understanding and professionalism. Unfortunately, during my final conversation with the manager, after reviewing the CCTV footage, he denied that the comment had been made. He explained that, according to the staff, they had been talking about something else and not about my girlfriend. What disappointed me most was not only the disrespectful comment itself, but also the way my comp

“Great place to relax and ease of location to visit sunset town or the north of the island for the safari zoo”
+Excellent property, facilities, beach access and big pool. Good Food Options and breakfast was very good and many options available.
−Guaranteed check in time of 3pm was not available. While only a half hour delay, the hotel shuttle bus did pick us up from the airport at 1:30pm so the hotel knew when we would be arriving which was disappointing.

“Nice”
+The staff are friendly and nice, one of the staff said happy birthday to me, one of the staff noticed that I’m ‘’crying’’ (actually dry eye) and gave me some dessert to make me feel better! Thank you so much for the sweet behavior!

“Rest and relaxation”
+We have just spent 5 days at Phu Quoc. The rooms were lovely and a good size. Beds comfortable but mattress a bit hard. Only one chair on the balcony (which I thought was very odd ). Breakfast was a bit hit and miss and very busy. A terrible lot of wastage which is disappointing. I feel they make up too much and have it sitting. Mad cow restaurant was great food but music was way too loud! Location isn’t the best as Phu Quoc is a construction site at the moment. The govt seem to pouring money into it but it will be a good 5-10 years before it takes off. There is nothing to walk to so you are kind of stuck at the hotel unless you get a 25 min taxi. The pool is lovely and we gad a nice break but we probably won’t be back
