“Didn’t enjoy the stay from the time the not friendly check-in staff so rudely didn’t listen to my smoking concern. Will”
+Nice views of the lake
−I cannot pay $300 a night and while booking, I purposely paid that premium price because the room had and I knew I would be able to smoke on the balcony as there was no mention of the restriction. I was told this when checking in, very rudely, that I must go take the elevator and look for a designated smoking area … that’s not acceptable when I pay that price! If it would have been mentioned, I would have rather chosen another of the many cheaper options

+The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and they went out of their way to make my stay special. Hotel was very clean throughout and my room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect - right on the lake, safe and very close to the airport. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant had a good choice of meals.
−Nothing to report.

“Close to the Airport”
+It is very close the airport and therefore our small stay made it easy. They arranged a complimentary shuttle service to pick us up and staff was friendly.

“Beautiful Hotel”
+We stayed here basically with just enough time for a very late dinner and sleep. The hotel was clean, beautiful, spacious and had an amazing view. It's right on the lake! The pool area was gorgeous! The staff was friendly! The service was very slow at the bar and restaurant, but what they made was tasty. Only complaint was that it took 1/2 hour to get my drink at the bar. It was delicious, but not sure why it took so long. I would recommend this Protea hotel.

“No quiet place to be”
+The pool is nice but it is totally overcrowded by children! There is no chance you can relax at the pool.
