“Lovely location”
+I love it here. Great location for Monmouth and a short walk to Parkrun on a Saturday morning. Just be warned that the car park has a company running it with excessive charges if you don’t register.

“OK stay for a night or two.”
+An OK stay. Nothing special. Pleasant welcome, room was ok, but lots of dust on several visible surfaces, towels had not been replenished so had to ask for them, toilet tissue holder not stocked to full. It's as if housekeeping did only half the job and hoped we didn't look too hard at the surfaces or need a towel. Breakfast was OK, but the fried eggs were like rubber. Not appealing.

“Not usual standard”
+Location was good for our travel requirements. The allocated room was a lot smaller than the Premier Inn ones we usually stay at, it also had very low ceiling height at one end where the eaves came low down into the room. Again the bed was smaller than usual (double instead of king size). The shower was a fixed unit over a very high, narrow bath which made getting in and out tricky.

“Great experience”
+First time stay at this hotel. Booked it earlier this year to attend a local wedding. Due to an unforeseen accident, a couple of weeks before our stay, I contacted the hotel, who changed our room for an accessible room closest to the entrance and restaurant, making life much easier. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we could not fault them. We tried a dinner and breakfast both of which we enjoyed. We had a very pleasant stay and the hotel staff were excellent. Many thanks it was greatly appreciated.

“Clean, comfortable, convenient and welcoming”
+My wife and I stayed here for a night while walking Offa’s Dyke Path. Clean, comfortable and convenient for visiting Monmouth or surrounding countryside with welcoming staff, as we have come to expect from Premier Inn. We had the ‘Meal Deal’ and the choice on the menu for dinner in the in-house Thyme restaurant has improved as it is more wide-ranging than it used to be. The food was very good. Breakfast was the usual wide-ranging choice.

“Reliably clean and comfortable hotel”
+We've stayed here many times while visiting elderly relative in town. Always dependable, clean, comfortable and easy walk into Monmouth. Staying for two nights we told reception that we didn't need a clean but would like fresh mugs. Actually very surprised, and pleased, to to return to a beautifully tidy and clean room! Thank you!

+We had a wonderful stay at this place and enjoyed every moment. They support a charity ( Great Ormond Street Hospital). We participated in a charity competition for £2, and it was a lovely experience; my daughter loved everything. I must commend the staff for their excellent care and attentive service..
